At 500 bucks it hard to defend. I paid that much for myps3...but it was the only way to play baseball. I think when 2 consoles launch at the same time and one is 100 buck less that's it's a no brainer

And the PS4 is more powerful (not that that really means too much as far as consoles are concerned)...so it feels like for Juan you're paying $100 more for things that aren't a benefit (Kinect/DRM).

Yeah. That's mostly what I meant with DRM. I'm still pretty confused how all of MS' DRM nonsense is going to work. The only thing that I do know is that it isn't going to make people happy and however it does work, it probably won't work well.

Microsoft actually didn't do a bad job yesterday. The whole thing boils down to Sony coming out and going $100 cheaper, no online check-in and no restrictions against used/rented games.

I never thought they would be. I predicted $499-$599 if you recall.

I'm also closing in on 50 years old and I think I am losing the desire to own this stuff. I still like gaming but I don't find it as useful to me as I used to.
