That's just it. EA has already said that they are doing away with the Online Pass program. And then days later you find it it's because they are cozied up to MS and MS has their console DRM. But there is no way in hell either EA or MS can afford to NOT have any restrictions on PS4. So since they are already doing away with Online Passes, what do you think the logic solution is? So yeah, SONY can say they are supporting used games and that you can still play used games on their console, which for all we know are just first party. All third party games can still use some type of DRM.

I'm just saying that people can't read between the lines of all of MS's bullshit and not do the same with Sony. You really need to pay attention how these company figure heads word shit. Like I said before, the way Major rNelson kept saying "People in your circle can TRY any of the game you have" during that Angry Joe interview. He said it several times that way and seemed very specific in his wording. Don't trust these suits as far as you can throw them.

I've been hearing that same thing and was wondering why I haven't seen squat about it in this thread and kept meaning to ask about it. From what I understand it is NOT coming with a headset and Kinect is to be used for everything. But how the fuck is that going to work? How are you going to play a game like Battlefield (or, so the Xbots can understand, the far superior Call of Duty!) and communicate with your teammates as their voices are coming through your tv/surround souns speakers along with all of the explosions and whatever else is happening in game? Sure, you should be able to talk just fine assuming the new Kinect is as good as they are saying, but how can you hear shit? They've already said that current headsets from third parties like Turtle Beach, Tritton, etc will not be compatible.

Turtle Beach has been confirmed as the official headset brand of XB1. The only thing I've seen is that they are not compatible because the audio jack is different. I'm assuming there will be some kind of adapter.

Ok, that's great. So my only option will be to buy a headset from a partnering company that costs hundred of dollars? Will there be no cheap option from MS sold separately? Serious question.

The new headset is similar in appearance to the existing product for the Xbox 360. It is wired to the controller and is designed for "long gaming sessions and clear voice chat," Microsoft said.

The mono chat headset sports wideband digital audio and a unidirectional microphone. In addition, players will be able to access mute and volume controls without taking their hands off the controller.

Microsoft has also revealed a new play and charge kit for the Xbox One controller. It packs in a "long-lasting" rechargeable battery that Microsoft said can be juiced up fully in under four hours. Recharging can be done during gameplay or when the Xbox One is in standby mode.
Just a quick google search. They have their own cheap one if it's not already included in the console purchase, which is silly.

There's a headset, much like the packaged 360 one, that I posted during E3. I'm too lazy to look for the image tho lol.

So it is included, or no? Everything I've heard is that MS expects you to just use Kinect which makes zero sense with online gaming.

Yea, that doesn't sound great. The kinect would pick up sounds from the game since it's so close to my speakers, no?

Titanfall, Respawn Entertainment's first game, will be available exclusively on the PC and Xbox platforms. One major reason the game will not be appearing on the PlayStation 4 has to do with the benefits that come from cloud computing.

Studio founder Vince Zampella explained to IGN that neither EA nor Respawn initially planned to go exclusive with Microsoft, but the advantage that its hardware provides was too appealing to pass up. “It allowed us to think of the game a little differently,” he said.

The game offloads computer AI to the cloud as well as dedicated servers, providing a far more smooth and enjoyable online experience.

That sounds horrible. No way it would work. I just hope they don't gouge people and charge $20+ for that shitty headset. Although this is M$ and don't they already charge $20 for the current one?

Edit: Yes they do. Unreal. So you know damn well the Xbone version will be $30 or more.

What they meant to say is, "MS threw millions of dollars at us, so they'll get the game first."

Can we find ANY evidence to this being true? Curious.
