I loved the original Xbox controller. Tried switching to the smaller one but just never got used to it. A lot of Halo was played on it and that thing was indestructible.
I liked the duke. MS has never had a controller that I disliked, honestly, although I haven't tried Juan's. The 360 controller in particular is my favorite controller ever, although the downside to it is that it has made me come to despise all of Sony's controllers (excited for PS4's though, after all of the good things that I've heard).

Yeah everybody complains about it being too big, but I was 9 at the time of the Xbox came out and I preferred that controller over the smaller one I really liked those Duke controllers.

So interesting. A guy on my soccer team actually is working with M$ right now on an internal part of the machine. A refresh of the X1 will be out in 2015. He confirmed M$ has to rush to the market (which we all sort of already knew). The reason the X1 is so large is because they didn't have their engineering completed yet. (heat related). I guess the target date for the X1 was Spring 2015 which is almost a year and a half earlier than reality.
