So, Maynard seems to be having difficulty with the game, but most of you other guys are not. Maynard is old and most of you other guys are not. I am also old.

i dont think its the difficulty thats doing me in, i think its more about me not running away from hoards when i should. Plus i keep making the mistake of trying to "get intel" while the hoards are around me. When holding the buttons to get intel you get hit and that causes you to die.

the health doesnt replenish while you are fighting. The combat is identical to Batman imo....but you use a sword and have a bow at your disposal. I love the combat alot more because of this

im not sure what that was, but i know there is a mission to kill 20 captains in 2:00 - some guy on the steam forum was bitching cause he couldnt beat it

Nope. He has the Brand and Dispatch abilities. With Brand you can basically "brainwash" an Uruk and he becomes an undercover ally for you. Then when you also have the Dispatch ability, you can instantly kill those Uruks that you've branded.

I ended up getting the game after walking into Target and seeing the last copy. I didn't know that they were offering a $10 gift card with the game. I'm going to use it next week on NBA 2K15. Going to try to play it 2nite.

I've played for 13 hours and I still don't have the Brand ability unlocked. That's also not really what those abilities are meant for. It's meant to help you in Warchief fights, not for a mass murder like that lol.

Not at all. I'm getting it, just waiting for a sale. No time to play it now.

Like I mentioned, it's not at all how you'd utilize the ability during a real playthrough. This was just done for a funny video.

The year as a whole may not stack up yet to others, but there's always games to consider throughout the year. Second Son was high on my list until Shadow of Mordor.

Divinity Original Sin, Mario Kart 8 and Wasteland 2 are kind of all that I would even consider so far.

divinity is the only game i enjoyed all year. wasteland 2 was a major let down imo. the new borderlands should be good. i would have said GTA5 except it wont come out on pc until next year lol
