Borderlands : A New Beginning

i am really enjoying this game. i like it for exactly what it offers. a fps with a ton of missions and areas to explore for loot and leveling up. its stripped down story or lack of any real story is nice. No cut scenes to bog down the action. just shoot fools, find loot and level up your guy into a badass character.

I have only played it solo and i think its alot of fun going at it alone.

well that was fun. finished at level 36. the destroyer was a bitch. took me like 5 tries to beat him...maybe more. I dont see myself playing it a 2nd time. Im not sure how long it took to do 1 run thru because the time said some odd number like 1:07:37:57

im guessing like 30-40 hrs or so. Well worth the price i paid

That means 31 hours, 37 minutes, and 57 seconds.

And personally, I'm having more fun with playthrough 2 because of the bad ass weapons and enemies you face. Since there is no real story, it feels almost like a whole new game is being played.

yeah, i would have liked to get a hold of some more powerful guns. I only found 2 eridian guns and they were really cool except the cooldown

i was the hunter and idk if thats why i didnt find any good assault or smgs. The best one i found was a 395 sniper or even the 125x12 shotty i used. I found both about 3/4 of the way thru and used them the rest of the way

the game touted itself for all the different guns but really let me down with the lack of quality guns. This is part of the reason i didnt want to play a 2nd time. the looting aspect of the game just became very dull and repetitive. I had over a million bucks so i didnt need money anymore and the loot was pretty shitty

shooting fools was a real blast though. Getting those 1 shot kills always got my guy talking and just about all the dialog was extremely amusing

oh, i just just realized that i never did anything in that crazy guys junkyard. All i did was talk to him but i never once found a mission to even go in there and explore....i totally forgot about that area

I'd go through it on co-op Maynard. Get a buddy to play with or play with some VSNers online because the loot is 10x better when playing co-op. Makes the game more fun altogether.
