Well this is fucking dumb. Apparently they didn't get the level cap patch out to coincide with the game. I think I saw on Twitter it isn't coming out until October 12th, the same day as the GotY version.

So dumb. That shit was supposed to be out a few weeks ago and I assumed it was. Pointless playing this DLC if you have a level 61 character.

DUKE NUKEM FOREVER DEMO ANNOUNCED

Publisher 2K announced every copy of Borderlands: Game of the Year Edition, which ships next Tuesday, comes with a free membership certificate for the Duke Nukem Forever First Access Club.

This membership gives players access to "exclusive items," including an early playable demo of Duke Nukem Forever before it's public release.

2K did not say when the demo would be available, only confirming it'll be out "prior to the retail launch of the game," which is still marked for calendar year 2011.

Borderlands Game of the Year Edition ships on October 12 for Xbox 360, PlayStation 3, and PC. The pack includes all four downloadable add-ons: The Zombie Island or Dr. Ned, Mad Moxxi's Underdome Riot, The Secret Armory of General Knoxx, and Claptrap's New Robot Revolution.

According to an article on Kotaku it went up yesterday. I'm about to find out in a few because my cousin and I are going to finally jump on the Claptrap DLC.

I'm still pissed about the situation. Had I know these clowns didn't include the level cap in the new DLC I never would've bought it day one. Then I could've waited a few days and took advantage of the 'Spend 2400pts, get 800 back' promotion MS had in October. Seeing as how I bought SMB and would've bought the new Alan Wake DLC.

Yeah I traded it in after I beat it on 360....but I'd be willing to play it again since the GOTY edition is only $20.

I booted this back up with a few buddies of mine and sadly, I realized that it's just not a very good game after a while. We were bored to death. It certainly doesn't instill confidence in me for Duke Nukem (not that anything really could at this point).
