Syracuse Orange (4-5) at South Florida Bulls (4-4)

The beautiful state of Florida. Hot women, beautiful beaches, and tons of speed on their football teams. South Florida came into this game with a simple gameplan on defense; stop me from doing anything.

I could tell that was their strategy when I lined up for the first offensive play of the game. The opposing cornerback was two yards from my face ready to jam me, and on top of that, they had a safety playing over the top in my area.

With me being double-teamed basically the entire game, we needed someone else to step up. Doug only had 12 carries, but made the most of them with 113 yards and a touchdown, while Ryan had a rushing touchdown himself. Our defense shut down B.J. Daniels and the high-powered Bulls offense and when the clock struck zero, we finally got back to .500 and had a realistic shot at making a bowl game for the first time since 2004.
