Nice blowout win, great moves in the off-season to bring in Green and Crawford too.

Quote Of The Game:
"This was a big win for us. Not only because it allowed us to jump out in front in the Central division standings, but I really didn't think we played our best basketball out there. Any team can win when your playing great basketball. The true hallmark of a good team is winning the games when you aren't at your best. And we did that tonight." - Danny Granger

Pacers Have "Wiggled" Themselves Into Unfamiliar Territory
The Indiana Pacers found themselves in an unfamiliar position when they walked off the floor of the United Center lastnight.
First place.
Indiana entered lastnight's contest tied with Chicago atop the Central division standings at 5-2, but moved atop the division after a 2nd half surge helped the Pacers upend the Bulls, and vault over Chicago for the division lead.
The Pacers hope their stay in first place is not a short one as they shoot for their 4th consecutive home win in this young 2010 season when they host the Mavericks tonight.
"We're concerned with playing well and closing out games," Indiana's Danny Granger said after the game. "We're concerned about being ready for the playoffs. At the end of the day we want to put ourselves in the best position, but I don't think guys on this team pay attention to the standings day-in and day-out."Last edited by mfbmike; 03-25-2009, 02:11 PM.Comment
