Adrian Wilson, SS #6, :4star:, 6'1" 198 LBS, Lochearn/Maryland

Penn State, though struggling at the QB position so far this year, have no worries at least for the DB aspect of the team. The depth of the safety position continues to grow for the Nittany Lions with the early commitment of 4 star Strong Safety Adrian Wilson. He broke records for Tackles for Loss and Forced Fumbles at his high school in Maryland. He'll look to start for the Lions in a year or two.

Scott Mescudi takes an option run to the house

Summary:
Chalk up another loss for the Falcons. 2 losses to 2 very tough ACC opinions is not that bad at all in my eyes. It's a new program and they are learning. There is a reason they are in the Sun Belt. Lacking talent and experience is all. They'll pick it up.

Kyle Hadley was kind of shut down this game which meant for passing. With Airik Aldridge, a true freshman, that means many mistakes made. This game he threw 4 interceptions! 4! He better hope the coach has mercy on him for the next game or else he may be benched. The Daytona State Falcons scored first on a 95 yard run by WR Scott Mescudi who was almost robbed at the 2 yard line. They would score 2 more times on an interception returned for a TD by Brian Shwayzed as well as a TD pass to WR Ethan Woy from Aldridge. Star Wide Receiver Jose Villasmil was benched this game for his comments after last weeks win.

Finally at least an interception and a sack! This team went almost three games with out one. In this game there were 4 INT's and 3 sacks (no i didn't adjust anything you assholes) made by FS Homer Olsen, CB Brian Shwayzed, and LB Andre Tippett. The sacks for covered by VSN Saluki and Jason Martin who are both DE's.

Week 4 is upon us. This is a vvery important week because the Falcons are playing North Texas which is a Sun Belt matchup. If the Falcons want some momentum in the Sun Belt conference they better win this game.

WR Scott Mescudi address media after monster game


Trying to make the most of his opportunities as a WR on the up and coming Daytona State Falcons, WR Scott Mescudi had a big game against the Terps. Here is what he had to say after the game with reporter Erin Andrews.

EA: So how does it feel after waiting a few weeks to finally get on the field and show your talent?
SM: It is a great feeling man. I am a true believer in everyone should get the chance to show what they can do, and today was my day to prove to not only myself and the team, but to my fans, and to god. I feel like I did that.

EA: It may come as a surprise to some that your first collegiate TD came as not a receiving one, but on an option run. How do does that make you feel?
SM: Man it don't matter how I score, as long as I am doing my part to try and help the team win. Once I caught that option pitch, I knew I was gone.

EA: We know you are good friends with former Maryland receiver Darrius Heyward-Bey. How did it feel to perform so well in his former stomping grounds?
SM: Man, me and DHB go back to middle school it felt amazing to be able to duplicate some of the things he did back when he was playing on this field. I try to model my game after him as much as I can, and hopefully today people could see that.

EA: Alright, last question. There have been rumors that you have a career lined up just in case football doesn't work out. What is that all about?
SM: Yeah, that is true...I'm trying to enter the rapping/entertainment industry as well. I look up to people like Rasheed Wallace and Shaq, but hopefully my music is a lot better than theirs. I hope everyone cops my album which drops September 15th, Man On The Moon: End Of The Day. Peace and Love to everyone.
