    REPOST

OK looking to get Adrien Beltre from the 27-71 M's, which makes sense, here's two deals I was thinking of:

    Toronto Gets:
    3B Adrien Beltre

    Seattle Gets:
    SP Jesse Litsch
    3B Kevin Ahrens
    RP Jesse Carlson

    ----------------------------

    Toronto Gets:
    3B Adrien Beltre

    Seattle Gets:
    3B Jose Bautista
    SP Jesse Litsch
    RP Mike Maroth

    What deal is better?

      What's Ahrens' potential/overall? I think the 2nd one is a bit better.

Ahrens is a C potential but he has a pretty high overall and I'm NOT giving up Sobolewski

I think the 2nd one is a bit more realistic but that's just me. Bautista is better.

Acosta's a damn good option, IMO, a good power arm. Probably wouldn't be all that difficult to get.

What about Jason Motte from the Cards, Jared Burton from the Reds, the Cubs' Neal Cotts, Wuertz or Casilla from the A's, maybe Scot Shields from the Angels or Ron Mahay from KC? Just throwing out some names here, tell me if any interest you.

So that leaves you with Motte, Wuertz/Casilla, and Burton from that list. Any of those guys interest you? Motte is a straight power arm, 98-99 mph 4-seamer. Burton throws hard, too.

No, Ryan Franklin is their closer in r/l, Motte is more of a 8th inning guy.

Problem, Bautista is innured and you can't trade injured players so here's what I'm going to do:

                  M's Get:
                  SP Jesse Litsch
                  3B Kevin Ahrens
                  RP Jesse Carlson
                  CF Wayne Lydon

                  Jays Get:
                  3B Adrien Beltre

t.dot, beltre is a FA after this season, a B prospect would be enough, or 2 C prospects and 1 D prospect

Garrett Anderson is an amazing young CF with some speed. Dontrelle Willis is a solid SP and is only 27 and the Tigers could be willing to trade him.

Wish I knew more about baseball other than what's going on with the Tigers to be able to help more. lol.

Thornton is on the block in my chise, I think Soriano might be as well.

What would it take to get them?

I'm sure the White sox would want a MLB ready bullpen arm and/or a position player.

Not sure what Atlanta would want.

On a side note: I wish I had room in the Cubs outfield. I'd love to be able to trade Atlanta for Francour.

Or trade the A's for Matt Holliday

Do you mean Josh Anderson and not Garrett Anderson? Lulz. Garrett is like 36 years old. Oh yeah, and I'm looking for a power hitter for my Giants team. I seriously have nobody that can hit homers. Who do you guys think I should get? I was looking into Nick Swisher, Mark Reynolds, Adam Dunn, Andruw Jones, and Jack Cust.
