      Shelled!

Hank Blalock celebrates with Nelson Cruz.

AP - Cleveland, OH - And just like that, Texas got one back. Jake Westbrook lost only his second game of the year, but he did so in the most horrible way possible. Jake got shelled by the Texas Rangers.

Josh Hamilton, Hank Blalock and Chris Davis all homered on the day as the Texas Rangers whipped the Cleveland Indians 10-6. The Indians led by Grady Sizemore tried to rally in the ninth but came up four runs short, filing the comeback under the "to little, to late" category.

This comes only a day after the Indians were boasting about their playoff chances, a deep post-season run, and beating the Texas Rangers. The Rangers let Cleveland know, we're not in October yet.

Sizemore recently, has seem to have found his bat as he hit number 11 and 12 on the season. Sizemore hit a solo shot in the first, and a three run homer in the ninth. He was joined by Ben Francisco who hit a solo shot in the first as well and Ryan Garko drove home a run on a base hit.

"Grady did phenomenal." said Victor Martinez. "We were unable to help him and that led to the loss." The Indians will close out the series tomorrow with Aaron Laffey on the mound as they try to move this season series to a tie.

        Shut Out!

Feldman's complete game gave the Rangers the victory.

AP - Cleveland, OH - Scott Feldman dominated and the Indians failed to get hits. Resulting in their worst loss of the season a 5-0 shut out, at home. While the Indians have dominated this season overall, they've struggled against the AL West. The Texas Rangers win the season series 4-2.

"It's no concern to us". said Victor Martinez. "Just days ago we're talking about playoffs and you guys are saying we have a long way to go. We'll not we're talking about losing two at home to them, and I'm saying. We still have a lot of baseball left."

The Indians need every win that they can get and it only gets more and more important as a majority of their games next week are against the AL West. The Indians will travel to Minnesota for a three game set before hosting the Angels and the Mariners.

Only time will tell about the playoff push for the Tribe, or who their opponent will be. One things for certain, right now, they're in. Zack Johnson will attempt to get it going for the Indians against the Minnesota Twins, in Minneapolis tomorrow.

I can't believe it, I go on 6,7 and 8 game winning streaks after a loss. Having Grady Back helps, he's getting beastly at the plate. I'm pretty sure he's hit 6 home runs in the last week alone.

                Series Preview:

                (70-44)@(47-67)

Cleveland lead the Season Series 7-2.

                Divsion Standings:

                Probable Starters:

                Game 1:

                Z. Jackson (3-1, 4.33 ERA)|N. Blackburn (2-8, 3.39 ERA)

                Game 2:

                F. Carmona (13-2, 3.29 ERA)|F. Liriano (8-9, 4.68 ERA)

                Game 3:

                C. Lee (10-4, 4.26 ERA)|K. Slowey (4-13, 5.84 ERA)

                Key Bank's "Keys to Succes"

1.) Good Pitching - Indians Ace Fausto Carmona needs to stay sharp as the playoff push beings. Cliff Lee needs to be consistent with his pitches, and Zack Jackson needs to settle in for the long playoff haul. They need to start doing this against the last place Twins.

2.) Defense - The Dome in Minnesota causes defensive problems. If the Indians bring their A game, they should be able to handle the field, and the Minnesota Twins.

3.) Bullpen - The bullpen has been shaky for the Tribe the last few outings. They need to find consistency again as the season ends. The last games are the most important and it doesn't do the Tribe good to blow games late.

                      Twins Surprise!

Joe Mauer watches the ball take flight.

AP - Minneapolis, MN - The Cleveland Indians were surprised at the final score. The last place twins beat the first place Indians for the third time this season. All without hitting a home run, essentially they beat the Tribe at their own game.

Frustration sat in in the sixth inning for Zack Johnson who let three men on, all of which scored. He closed out the inning but the Indians were unable to get the bats working in the later half of the game.

Grady Sizemore scored in the first inning off of a Ben Francisco sacrifice fly. The second Indians run came when Jhonny Peralta scored on a Ben Francisco double. The Indians wouldn't get anymore runs after that.

"We're all right". said Manager Eric Wedge. "Rough spots happen, nothing to be too concerned about right now."

The Indians will continue the series with Ace Pitcher Fausto Carmona getting the start as he chases win number 14 on the season.

                        Snapping The Streak At 3!
