If that's true I vote they change the title from The Man of Steel to Superman Begins, lol!

I truly think Reynolds will pull it off.

      Hate the costume though.

Would love to see a Rachel McAdams as Lois.

The opposite of Kate Bosworth in terms of :datass:
True he def. fits the part, but what I was getting at, is that to make the movie good the cast will actually have to act and not just rely on explosions and witty one liners.

Hell ya son Rachel McAdams is HOT, lacking "up top" but makes up for it with :datass:. Plus she's a top notch actress!

She's actually hotter as a Blond:

      Decent with black hair:

Can totally pull off the Lois look:

If they take the style over substance angel with Lois then I vote they cast Scarlett Johansson

If they go cheap Lizzy Caplan wouldn't be too bad:

Spider Man 2 and X-Men 2 are two of the greatest comic book movies all time. Spider Man 2 is almost Dark Knight good. X-Men 2 revealed a lot about Wolverine and went much deeper and darker into the effects mutants have on the world. What the hell did you watch?

X2 and Spiderman 2 were actually kind of boring... Spiderman 2 just suffered because it was 30 mins too long. X2 had a shitty villain. Also I hate the whole bad guy is really a good guy theme in both those movies.

The Dark Knight was bad ass because the Joker was Bad ass MFer from the start!

Dark Kinght is better obviously, but Spider Man 2 hit the nail on the fucking head with Doc Oc. He was a great villain and had a huge morale dilemma for Peter. I thought the transformation was fantastic. It might not have been Dark Knight dark, but it was really the first superhero movie that wasn't campy and a fairytale ending.

Then with X-Men 2, you didn't like William Striker? I never thought he was a good guy, but the plan he had made for a great movie. That too shied away from the campiness and established a world with consequences. The opening to that movie was phenomenal with that NightShadow (?) trying to assassinate the president.

Its no surprise that the third one in both these series was poor after the hype that got built because the 2nd ones were so good.

X2 is pretty awesome, but Spidey 2 is a straight cheese fest.

Wow this is the first time Ive ever seen people say they disliked Spiderman 2. Very Interesting. If you thought the 2nd one was a cheese fest, did you think the first one was as well? Goblin was a very terrible portrayal. Doc Oc looked and was a badass, at least his mechanical arms were. I loved the scene where they killed all the doctors.

I thought the Spidey franchise & the X-Men chise followed the same pattern: solid part 1, excellent part 2, totally shitty part 3.

As for Supes, I'm in favor of keeping Routh. He looks the part & did a nice enough job with it in "Returns". That movie had some problems but not because of him.

I thought X-Men one was really good and I liked X2. I think they really fucked up with the third one, though. By "they" I mean Bret Ratner. I wish Bryan Singer had stayed instead of doing that Superman Returns movie. Not that it was terrible, I just thought he would have served the X-Men franchise better. I mean, the third movie was hardly even related to the first two... It's like it wasn't the same genre, but had the same actors with worse writing. Suffice to say I was disappointed. :ionno:

After seeing that Sucker Punch trailer, I can't wait to see what kind of visuals he uses for Superman: Man of Steel. I think it's going to be very badass.

Ya I was really surprised by that too! Got me even more psyched for The Man of Steel. I don't know anything about Sucker Punch, but color me excited!

Anyone that hasn't seen that trailer should check it out ASAP. It's a page back a little before the TITTYS!

I think we can all agree that both Fantastic Four films sucked.

There was a second Fantasic 4 film?

Seriously, I had no fucking idea.
