Batman and Superman do not need bull shit "team up" movies to keep the public's interest! They aren't second rate comic book characters like Iron Man, Thor and Captain America...

The Dark Knight and The Man of Steel are comic book royalty, they are fully capable (pun intended) of holding down summer blockbuster masterpieces as stand alone films/trilogies.

*Sidenote: Superman Returns was done in by the screen play and the casting... Not the Iconic Supeman! They did however find this generations Lex Luthor in Kevin Spacey! Anyone who has seen House of Cards has to agree!

I prefer the Marvel movies but that's because those are the characters I grew up with. I will definitely see Superman though because it looks really good.

The big difference I notice between the way Marvel has done their films and Christopher Nolan has done the DC films is Marvel is making more of an effort to bring comic books to life on screen while Nolan is putting more of an emphasis on creating stand alone films that don't require any prior knowledge of the characters

I think Superman stories are boring because given his extreme superpowers, it's a plot hole whenever he doesn't save the day in 10 seconds fast. All the drama is forced.

Also, didn't they say there is no kryptonite in this movie?
