Tremendous fucking episode. Most of the major plot and character developments from the book made it in, so fans should be well satisfied. There were a few slight alterations which obviously had to be made for budgetary reasons, but that was a brilliant on-screen depiction of the battle. Thanks GRRM.

I just started to watch this since I needed something new. Jesus christ it is like softcore porn half the time.

Seriously when I first saw the two blonde people, I thought to myself "ok, I see what they did here. The North people look all grudgy and these people are probably all classes. Kind of like men and elves in LOTR"

2 minutes later he is undressing her (very nice) and calls her his sister.

North of the wall is symbolism for Canada. We are all civilized people South of the wall but north of it is a bunch of wildlings.

if only GRRM wrote every episode this could be the best show in the history of television. That was amazing and stayed pretty true to the story. I wouldve liked to have saw the chain utilized in the bay. But alas we cant have everything.
