Horrible Bosses - enjoyed it. fine for what it is. great cast.

Fear & Loathing in Las Vegas - Rewatched this worthless piece of trash at like 3am last night. Still one of the worst movies i've ever seen. Pointless drivel, astounded that people think this is great.

Boogie Nights - Rewatched this as well. Not as good as I remembered, but a good movie.

I saw The Raid in theaters, needless to say it met my expectations. If someone goes into it knowing what it is and what to expect I don't see how they could be disappointed.
Grizzle Man is one of the best comedies of all time. We developed a sick drinking game to the movie.

Timecrimes was not bad but certainly could have been better. It felt like it thought it was more clever than it actually was.

I have always gotten Dazed and Confused and Fast Times at Ridgmont High confused, but now that I've seen Dazed and Confused I can say with confidence that I enjoyed it a lot more.

SHAME with Michael Fassbender and Carrie Mulligan.

Fucking LOVED it. Fassbender is a brilliant actor. Quickly moved up my list of favorite movies.

I only saw the first two. I thought they were effectively creepy and well directed for their length. Would you say the Takashi Miike one compares well enough with the other two to go back and see it?

I watched Take Shelter today, I would probably put it in my top 5 for 2011 now. A word of advice for anyone: do not go to the imdb message board section for any sort of intelligent interpretation of a movie. Ever.

I would say so. If you're familiar with Miike then be prepared that isn't like his normal stuff, though. It has a different, creepier feel.

I was not a big fan of Audition or Ichi the Killer at all, so I am all for him going with a different style.

It wasn't perfect, but Cabin in the Woods is my favorite film of the year so far.

My mother came into town and brought my little sister with her. We went and saw 21 Jump Street, my second time seeing it and it was actually funnier the second time.

One of the best comedies i've seen since the original Hangover.

I am a big fan of both. That said, his entry in 3 Extremes is decidedly gore free and focuses more on the creepiness factor.
