Going to be a great series. Even though the Cardinals have typically been in the top of the division during the past 10 years, there haven't been many really good pennant races. This Red/Cardinals race has the potential to be a great one, especially with the Reds having the make up of the 2006 cardinals (Jocketty, Edmonds, Rolen, Izzy, Springer, etc.)

I won't be worried about the division unless the Cardinals get swept in this series, which I don't see happening with Carpenter and Wainwright pitching.

As a Reds fan I'm pretty excited for this... I still remember the dissapointment of the 99 one game series with the Mets, even though I was only 7 at the time.

This is the one I figured we'd lose.

Just avoid the sweep, stay in first.

Phillips = dumbass. Nice job waking the sleeping giant.

Hopefully Cueto gets a nice suspension after fighting like a woman.

                    Again, silly Reds.

                      LOL@bias

Phillips was minding his own business, and Molina got in his face.

Then, the infamous whiny biatch Carpenter, who everyone in the league can't stand, decides he wants to fight everybody, including Rolen who was making peace.

I love how STL instigates a brawl, and you want CUETO suspended.

LOL@"sleeping giant"...yeah, Brendan Ryan & Skip Schumaker mean business now, look out!

Btw, I love the bad blood. You don't see enough of this in sports these days, because all these guys are buddies due to free agency etc.

The fans on both sides want to beat the other even more now, which is great.

Molina should have been thrown at in the 8th. I want to see guys knocked down today, both sides were too passive after the brawl. Send a messege and hit someone in the back.

I admit that I'm bias, but come on. You don't go around proclaiming that you hate a team and call them whiny bitches, then try to be all buddy-buddy at game time. Lucky he didn't get knocked out. If a player is going to talk smack like Phillips did, at least back it up. What is he, 1-10 in the series? L-O-L

And did you not watch the brawl? Do you really think that Cueto doesn't deserve a suspension? The guy was kicking people in the face and back with metal cleats on. What a joke that guy is. At least Carpenter went at guys like a man.

The only thing the Reds have proved in this series so far is that they aren't ready for primetime. Hope they have fun missing the playoffs again for the 15th year in a row.

I agree with this. I'm loving this rivalry. Ok, back to arguing.

I thought that was awesome. Love the bad blood. Gotta side with my dude Brandon Phillips since he's a Georgia boy. LOL at Chris Carpenter saying Cueto didn't know how to fight, as if he was knocking fools out like Nolan Ryan or Kyle Farnsworth out there.

Also, huge LOL at Molina's attempt at an explanation in that post-game. To call that "broken english" would be generous. Was he arrested at a water park this weekend for having a wet t-shirt?

At least Yadi didn't have to use a translator for his post game interview like Cueto did. lol

Apparently Cueto has been spending his free time in karate class instead of English class. He's been living in the states for how many years? Learn the freaking language!
