Well Atlanta does just fine playing in front of the empty seats, as we have the best record at home this year. Though something tells me the stadium will be at 103% capacity on October 1-3.

And in fairness, even as a fan I recognize that the number of bandwagoners has spiked. Lots of chicks with cut up Phil's gear that know zero about baseball are filling those seats. Shit, the number of implants alone (not the boob kind) is astounding. I know at LEAST 4 Cowboy fans from Texas that rock Phillies shit all of the time. It's nice that they're selling out, but let's not forget that those seats were plenty empty even 4 years ago when they weren't making the playoffs in the last 3 games of the season.

Man do I love the girls who are on the Phils bandwagon. Tailgating has never been better and there's a lot more to see at the park besides the game. I hope the Phils keep winning for that reason alone. :D

6-run innings make me happy. Hanson allowing 4 R in 3 IP does not. Jason Heyward hit a fucking bomb in the top half, then Lucas Duda hit his first big league homer in the bottom half. Duda's was a rocket, upper deck, but both balls were crushed.

The ball is sure flying out of Citi tonight for a game between two teams which were struggling to score runs lately.

At least the Braves won so we didn't lose any ground. Heyward hit his 18th today to give us the lead, it was an absolute bomb. He has a .500 SLG PCT and .515 OBP in September...Who the fuck is Buster Posey?

They laughed at the fact the Braves wouldn't see first place again this year in the NL East.

I love the fact that the Phillies purposley hand picked the starting pitching for this series vs the Braves coming up!

IMO the Braves better start prayimg for the wildcard with 3 left still to play vs the Phillies.

After a philly sweep the Braves will have to win 6 straight vs the Nationals and Marlins. Which won't happen and Bobby Cox will go in to retirement crying while thinking about what could've been...

Shit I didn't see that coming either......I figured The Nats would shell the hell out of Kendrick. Blanton's been pretty steady the last couple starts, maybe that continues today.

Holy Fucking COMEBACK!!! Jayson Werth's bomb was HUGE.......I swear that ball traveled like 420 feet!! INsane....I was keeping up with the game through highlights and stat tracker and lost my mind in the 9th.
