Nyjer Morgan doesn't understand what he did wrong??

First off I think the guy got off kinda easy considering the escapades towards the fans after the brawl, but apparently he thinks they threw the book at him..lol.

    ------
"Man, they threw the book at me. What did I do? I feel I haven't done anything. They are blowing this way out of proportion because I'm a hard-nosed player—because I knocked over a catcher. They throw the ball at me. Come on, what am I supposed to do? I have to take this and try to keep playing.

I feel I haven't done anything wrong expect for playing the game hard and play the game like it's supposed to be played. Wow. I don't know what else to say. It's just a fact that people are blowing this way out of proportion. I don't think you should be suspended for hitting a catcher...I don't understand what I did wrong to get an eight-game suspension. They make it seem like I'm Mike Tyson."
    ------

RECAP if you are scoring at home in the last two weeks:
-Threw the ball at a fan in the stands ("allegedely"..lol)
-Threw a shoulder shiver at Cards catcher Bryan Anderson with no play at the plate standing in front of home plate
-Railroaded Marlins catcher, really for no reason although completely legal, he could have easily scored by sliding to the back of the plate
-Stole 2nd and 3rd base with a huge deficit because he was thrown at, then thrown at again, then charged the mound
-After the brawl cursed and carried on WWE style towards Marlins fans

He doesn't know what he did wrong though.,.......

Had a great time at the game last night even though we lost. McCann hit a bomb off of Johan and Melky made a really nice grab. Today, Kenshin Kawakami is getting shelled like only Kenshin Kawakami can. That guy is turrible.

With the way Hamels has been pitching the last 2 months or so, 1 run is all we need. Although I get your point.

Hamels currently is the best pitcher in the rotation.

Braves need to pick up the pace so the Phillies don't come from behind.

Braves are getting shelled by Florida right now. Mike Minor got his formal welcome to the bigs and now the 'pen is being used in the 5th.

              6-1 Fish in the 5th.

.5 a game.......feel bad for Worley, kid put up some decent numbers halfway through the game. Hopefully he learned from his first start. If I was Cholly, I would keep him for long relief.

Worried about Durbin, hasn't been looking too strong lately. Maybe give him some rest and use Contreras more.

Blade, you're going to laugh at me but I am now off the Kendrick bandwagon. He did a pretty good job for a 5th starter from April-mid August, but now that it's crunch time, Kendrick looks like a scared bitch on the mound. He's been brutal his last 5 starts and we cannot afford to be sending him out there every 5th day in a pennant race.

I really think they should let Worley take Kendrick's next start because he certainly can't do worse than Kendrick at this point.

True that........Worley did do decent out there......... 5 IP, 2 ER, 5 Ks, 1 BB. He also only threw 76 pitches, but I like the fact that they are limiting his IP. He could be a diamond we need to take it easy though otherwise we will have our own Strasburg.

I think Kendrick has decent stuff, but the dude is absolutely weak minded. I want a pitcher with some more ice water in his veins out there.

Blanton perplexes me, he seems to be not getting nervous out there, but they are hitting the cover off the ball when he pitches this year.

LOL at someone ever being on the Kendrick bandwagon, dude is garbage. Anyway, that .5 needs to grow quickly. Gotta win the rest of our games this week.

For a 5th starter, he was doing a good job for most of the season. He was good when he first came up and was hoping for a return to that form. What's wrong with that?

He has a career ERA of 4.74 and a season ERA of 4.89. Even for a 5th starter those are pretty bad numbers.

Career opposing batting average is .290. That speaks for itself.

His rookie season he was 10-4 with a 3.40 ERA. This season his ERA was in the low 4's until his last 5 starts inflated those numbers. But yes, he blows and can't be trotted out there 5th day in September.

Why did Cholly just put in a Lefty vs a hitter who averages .450 against lefties!?!?! Damn it!
