Technically yes, but I feel there were better ways to go with a money dump.

In the end we've come out with 2 bullpen arms and a 24-year old "prospect". There had to have been salary dump options to improve the team THIS year. The division is still very winnable.

We've also benched Rios and brought up De Aza which essentially tells me they prefered De Aza over Rasmus as the CF option which is baffling.

Blue Jays absolutely steal Rasmus from the Cards. Kid is struggling, but he will be a star.

Definitely has the potential, just needs his head on straight. He never was going to get "it" here in St. Louis. Maybe a change of scenery will do him good.
