Cruel baseball gods

Mets play a night game in Atlanta on Thursday, fly to LA to play the Angels Friday night and lose in 11 innings on a bases loaded HBP.

They come back Saturday to WIN in 13 innings despite Ibanez's 9th inning game tying 3 run shot.

So, naturally, Bartolo Colon barely makes it through 5 innings today, giving up 9 runs in the process.
