Nice schedule, Coach Dixon. No wonder they are running off to the softer ACC where you only have two teams to worry about. Dixon is afraid to play anybody. Good riddance, faggots.

Oh but he thinks he is... when leads a break I'm like give the damn ball up and you will get rewarded down the floor.. I feel like he should have a rule for threes, he gets two and if he goes one of two he can shoot until he misses and then its back inside the arc until he gets told that he can take another one...

When you are a perennial top 10 team & in the Big East, you shouldn't struggle with Rider and lose to Long Beach St (both at home, btw). I can forgive one bad showing, but this is two in a row, and both at home. And they were never in the LBS game. LBS held a 8-16 point lead for pretty much the entire game.

And that schedule is a disgrace. An absolute disgrace. PLAY SOMEBODY! PLAY SOMEBODY! When a Tennessee program in disarray and Oklahoma St are the "big" non conference "showdowns", that's a garbage schedule. I can understand the local teams, and maybe a cupcake or two, but do they really need the Wagner game? South Carolina St? C'mon, Dixon.

And yeah, i'm trolling Pitty, but he'll never see it because he does a disappearing act after losses and embarrassing efforts.

Of course he was in the thread posting after they blew out Albany.

University of Washington is notorious for a ridiculous non-conference schedule. If you're a no name school Romar will put you on the schedule. They were REAL bad about this a few years ago when the then Pac 10 was up. Romar cancelled his only real tough non-conference rivalry game with Gonzaga and went all cupcakes.

I love UW and Romar but it's embarrassing. Marquette is the only actual basketball game they play this season and if the Pac 12 is down again it's just going to be a lot of boring basketball games for the Huskies.

Yeah, he scheduled SEATTLE in the midst of the Pac 10 season last year in February, and had the nerve to schedule them AGAIN this year in January. I guess they replaced Gonzaga. I can understand in November, but in the heat of the season? C'mon man!

He did schedule Duke along with Marquette this season IIRC, but I know from living near Houston that he also scheduled HOUSTON BAPTIST, as well as the yearly showdown extravaganza with PORTLAND.

                  Another scuuuured head coach.

Mark Fox actually scheduled a really challenging OOC schedule this season. The team isn't that great and is already off to a 3-0 start, but the next six games in a row are..

                    vs #22 Cal
                    at #14 Xavier
                    at Colorado
                    vs #20 Cincinnati
                    vs Georgia Tech
                    at Southern Cal

Time to see what this team is made of.

This is when it's nice to be a Gonzaga fan. Few gets it done.

The Washington State series is great because it is a HEATED rivalry. Spokane gets fired up during the days leading to that game.

Michigan State, Butler, Notre Dame, Illinois, Arizona in Seattle, don't know why Air Force scares me (I know nothing about them but GU is AWFUL in games played at home on either Dec 20, 21, or 22)

I wasn't trying to defend Pitt or Jamie Dixon (or their schedule) since I dislike both.

It's the same thing as always with them. They aren't really that good on paper so they can't afford to lose the rebound battle or play below-par defense. They failed in both regards tonight.

                        Speaking of Long Beach

They scheduled @ Pitt, @SDSU, @Louisville, @Kansas, @UNC vs BYU, vs Xavier this year.

                        Jesus.

                          Two solid tourney's starting tomorrow.

                          2K Classic - TAMU/Miss St, St.John's/Arizona

                          Puerto Rico Tip-off - Purdue/Iona, Temple/W.Michigan, Maryland/Bama, Wichita St/Colorado

I think there is another random one going on involving Northwestern, Seton Hall, LSU and VCU too.

That's the Charleston Classic. It's an 8 team field. You listed the most prominant teams.

UCLA is falling apart..... Pac-12 will end up UW, Cal, Arizona, Ucla. Slight homer pick but I truly believe this team will be better than last years. Excited to see how we do against the Dukies in December

UCLA might run into Duke before then, because they are both in the Maui Invitational.

Speaking of which, I bet UCLA fans are relieved that they drew Chaminade in round one, because the way they are playing they probably would have lost to anyone else in the field.
