Decent game down in Starkville. Akron up 6 with 12 to go. This is the first real watchable hoops action of the season for me, getting mildly excited.

LSU opens on Saturday with Nicholls State. Very excited to see what starting 5 Trent rolls out. For the first time in a long time we have more than 5 decent players.

So the bar on the Aircraft Carrier that the Carrier Classic is being played on has a drink you can buy called the "Bin Laden".....It's 2 shots and a splash.

Not only that, but Duke got away with a travel right before a 32 ft prayer 3 pointer that put the game away with like 0:10 left.

-UCLA lost to Loyola Marymount for the first time since FDR was president. I watched the whole second half, UCLA was never in the game.

-Cool veterans day double header today @Air Force, with AFA def. Army, then VMI def. The Citadel.

-All of the Big East teams won their respective openers (even Rutgers!) today.

-Don't worry about 'unranked' Michigan St. You will turn around in March, and that team will be 20-10 and a #5 seed. Izzo is great.
