May as well count Melo in there too, with that banged up shoulder. Was straight up getting mugged today.

Anyways, 2 seed is locked up.

Guess we shouldn't have expectations until we see it happen, but Woodson says Chandler & Martin will be ready for Game 1. Camby, too, should be prepared to play.

Rasheed may be ready to play again at some point during the first round.

      The bigs better be coming...

With the exception of KMart, I 100% expect them to play from the jump.

Remember, there was a reason they added all these old bigs. It's about the playoffs. Their entire postseason success will be reliant on having them available.

          Q-Rich is back.

The Knicks have announced the signing of small forward Quentin Richardson, who played in New York from 2005-09.Because Richardson hasn't suited up this season, he's playoff-eligible and brings the team's roster to a maximum of 15.

This has gotta be all about fucking with Paul Pierce's (and to a lesser extent, LeBron's) psyche, right?

            Sheed retired.

QRich will play some minutes tonight.

Anything less than a trip to the conference finals would be a disappointment.

Knicks grind out a tough win. Excellent defense in the 4th. And how about Jason Kidd - he's one of the smartest cats I've ever seen on the basketball court. He beats you with his mind. He does the little things that help you win at crunch time. Props to Kenyon Martin with 9 boards.

J.R. Smith will opt for free agency. Interesting to see if another team gives him an offer he can't refuse.

                      From Frank Isola in today's Daily News;

                      Knicks draft picks seldom stick
For whatever reason — poor selections and an impatient front office — the Knicks, who have the No. 24 pick, don’t draft well.

Iman Shumpert defied incredibly long odds last season, and it had nothing to do with his comeback following major knee surgery. The bigger accomplishment, at least from a historical perspective, is…

                        So, Tim Hardaway Jr.

I know nothing about his game....how's he fit in Melo's offense?

He will catch and shoot 3's when Melo feels like passing.

Wojo says JR and Knicks are nearing a deal for him to return.

So I guess it's pretty obvious what this team's gameplan is. Really, only the Elton Brand signing will make me feel even a slight bit better.

Hate, hate HATE the Bargnani move.

surprising JR would take less money to come back. guess he was telling the truth when he said he wanted to retire a knick
