Haha. Well, had I that forsight, I'd put him in my top five in the hopes that it would propel the Raiders to #1 in the AFC West. Doubtful, but a boy can dream.

      Lmfao, homer.

He did it to skip training camp and he also didn't mind the publicity because he likes the attention obviously.

      Coming soon...

Fox, again, you're probably right but I don't really care if these dudes take me seriously. More than 95 % of these clowns will be bagging groceries for life.

        FWIW, my list would be..

        1 Manning
        2 Brady
        3 Rivers
        4 Roethlisberger
        5 Warner

Cutler hasnt shown a consistant history yet. he is still a newb- i didnt say i dont think he is / may be good. Romo is on winning team but hasnt shown me anything yet as a quality individual QB.

^(.RoCkEtS)Well, that certainly makes sense. In my mind, what it comes down to is the fact that regardless of why he skipped training camp, he skipped training camp. That's just selfish. I don't care how old he is.

If he's too old for training camp or too old to be hanging out with 25 year olds or whatever else, maybe he's also too old to play with 25 yr olds and get hit by the same 25 yr olds. Maybe if he came into training camp last year he wouldn't have gotten hurt. Maybe he needs conditioning.

I just don't like the idea of a guy skipping training camp. It puts the other quarterbacks at odds with each other and with the organization. It's just not necessary. And if he thinks anyone's buying the idea that it's not to get revenge on Green Bay, he's just dead wrong.

I'm not gonna make jokes about his sanity or smoking weed or whatever (lol), but does he honestly think anyone's buying that? Does he think he's doing this for our benefit? There's tons of teams who might be "a quarterback away".

I've got to say, I don't fully understand this man. But, what I do understand of him, I don't like.

Exactly. He as old guy playing football with a bunch of kids. He still has a good arm but it isn't right that Sage Rosenfels and Tavaris Jackson have to sit behind some old guy now he just came in after training and only has a legacy. There is a good chance he wont perform well. He didn't do too good with the Jets and most likely he will do just as bad or worse with the Vikings.

                Coming soon...

His constant texting with ESPN and other media outlets helps keep him in the news. Let's not pretend that Brett has nothing to do with the media's interest. Too many times I've heard reports on Brett because of Text messages from Brett to reporters.

Brett's no dummy - he always uses the media to his advantage.

poor TJ and Sage, they suck , so they have to be back ups.

Didnt do good with jets ? They won because of Favre. The team as a whole wasnt good enough to push farther. The reason Favre did poorly towards the end of last year was the injury to his arm, that has been corrected. Favre is a proven leader and winner. That is why the Vikes have given him another opportunity.

^2 touchdowns and 9 interceptions in the second half of the season. Does that mean nothing?

                          AND FUCK LEADERSHIP!

Anybody who wins is a leader. Phil Simms was an asshole, Tom Flores was unassuming, and yet they're both great leaders because they win.

Idk, maybe Ray Lewis is a leader. But, I don't buy that "Favre is a leader" shit. Sorry, I just can't stand that. He's a selfish, arrogant asshole. BUT if he wins, he's a leader. Nah, man, I'm not buying it.

LOL @ the Jets winning because of Favre .. they won 9 games. Any of the QB's I mentioned earlier in this thread lead that team to at least 11 wins imo. Better yet, they show up to training camp, interact with teammates, and don't break down at the end of the season.

Lol they would have done the same if Kellen Clemens was QB. He did good the first couple of games.

He is just an a mission to ruin his Green Bay legacy it seems.

I never said -just winning makes a great leader. If favre were actually selfish and arrogant, the Vikes wouldnt be asking him back. You guys have no clue about everything that goes on behind the scenes and just believe what ever the media decides to pump you with.. favre is a great leader and his entire career proves it.
