two 8-8 seasons and one 4-12 all other seasons are above .500 . He may sling it bad at times but he puts teams in a position to win. Plus the last years with GB, Favre was trying to help a stuggling team to win. So, he took chances.
You said compare his TD-INT ratio with other greats. You're just making excuses now.

Well, now it's not convenient to his argument so it has to be something else now. DUH!

I said compare it over the length of an entire career of other hall of fame greats. or just entire career long time QBs. You just picked recent history. I make no excuses. He still has a high winning percentage regardless of ints.

As much as I dislike Favre, and hate admitting this, but Favre is right up there with Kurt Warner, as one of the greatest of all-time. What Favre does now, isn't going to change that fact. And that's really all that matters, in the end.

I think the dude is a total attention whore idiot who will destroy a team.

Most mainstream sports media think he's just a good ole boy that loves the game of football and will take the Vikings to the next level.

I believe what I've seen and what I've heard. I've heard countless former teammate of his call him a selfish player. I've heard a recent teammate of his say he can't wait to knock him out and I also saw his complete destruction of the Jets team last year by virtue of triyng to gunsling when he didn't have to. Which is exactly what he'll likely do this year. Best RB in the league? Who cares!!! Time to throw into double coverage because I could do that when I was 30 years old and hopped up on pain killers.

this is very basic and doesnt really pro or con anything successfully.
The jets completely destructed ? they were in a position to win because of him.
Your last line is pointless as well. You could never do anything comparable to favre on the field. He is a successful hall of famer and you are a fan watching the games.

....Of course I could never do anything comparable to him. When did I ever argue that? hahaha...

You couldn't do anything comparable to Damon Huard.

What the fuck is your point? When was it ever a competition between Favre and me?

o k fine I misread that then. But the fact is a good running game will do nothing but help Favre succeed.

                  Favre
                  TD-464 INT-310 ratio=1.49/1

                  Montana
                  TD-273 INT-139 ratio=1.96/1

                  Young
                  TD-232 INT-107 ratio=2.16/1

                  Marino
                  TD-420 INT-252 ratio=1.66/1

                  Elway
                  TD-300 INT-226 ratio=1.32/1

looks like everyone from his era except Elway has a better TD/INT ratio than Favre

I wouldnt call that better. I would call that comparatively similiar. look at all factors. teams they played with- length of career etc. Favre and Marino are great individual talents the others had better long term teams around them. regardless, this doesnt make favre look bad. it just means he threw more.
                    464 and counting, baby !

to bad young couldnt have fit with a quality team early on. his early years were wasted.
