It's not Tom Coughlin's fault Eli's playing like a rookie, Jacobs and Bradshaw can't hold on tp the ball, the receivers aren't running crisp routes, and the defense can't get it done. Players have to make the fucking plays!!

Shit, you cats think everything will change with Bill Cowher? Please, look at the playoff collapses that happened under his watch.

Maybe we overrated the talent and heart of this team.

The offensive line got their ass bashed in by a hungry Packers front 7. A lot of people think it was a mistake to instantly put O'Hara back at starting center, perhaps it was.

What I do know is the Giants got their asses handed to them based on stupid mistakes. Off the top of my head...the number of times a receiver ran the wrong route, the TWO fumbles by Bradshaw and Jacobs, Boss trying to be a savior instead of falling on the damn ball...

The defense was horrible. They blitzed the house and STILL couldn't get to Rodgers except for a sack on one play and a handful of hits after he threw. The secondary left the receivers wide open in zone which Rodgers attacked consistently for 4 quarters.

The lack of depth was blatantly obvious down the stretch. I really hope the next coach doesn't try to turn the team into a 3-4 defense...my god. Get as many fresh bodied DTs and pass rushers in and stockpile the shit out of them. No reason guys should be gassed by the 2nd half.

And are these special teams a damn joke at this point or what? I am sick and tired of seeing other teams with explosive players returning the ball, making sick tackles (ie. doing what david tyree did pre-super bowl heroics), etc. We are down to our 3rd and 4th return guys (DJ Ware, Nicks, Ross)....I hope whomever the coach is, Jerry Reese brings in some legit return specialists.

I wasn't actually bashing the Giants in my post.
              I was praising them.

My whole point was - one loss didn't destroy their season, they still had their playoff destiny in their own hands.

I really didn't intend to offend Giants' fans. Seriously. I hate the Cowboys, not the Giants. I want my team to beat them, but that's it.

              Agreed.
All those turnovers have nothing to do with the coach.
Mind you, I think they should say goodbye to Perry Fewell. He's awful.
It's OK to mix up your playcalling.

It's not the Giants way to fire coaches with time left on their contract. Coughlin still has a year to go. He won't get an extension if the Giants miss the playoffs.

Carl Banks says it time and time again. The Giants don't pay attention to detail and do the 'little things' necessary to win games. The coaches preach this but the players aren't getting the message.

The Giants failure to establish a run game the past two weeks has been their #2 undoing, IMO.
Not sure why that hasn't happened. The Giants have a great O-Line and two great RBs (other than Bradshaw's fumbleitis).
It's easy to blame Manning and his INTs, but I think the problems are bigger than #10.

10 isn't the problem. The oline has not been great at all the past 5 quarters. Shaun O'Hara should not have been starting at center and they got no push. If they have a run game in the 4th quarter against Philly, they ice the game. If they can get a run game going early in Green Bay, maybe it's a different turnout.

Not to mention the defense/special teams.

next week's game got moved to 4:15 so the giants will know by gametime if there is any chance of the playoffs

I hope Fox doesn't go all ramjackson and NOT air the Bears/Packers game in NY at 1pm on Sunday.

Pardon me, but what the hell do you think they've been doing? That is, and has for the last 5 years, been their biggest strength.
