Osi had something to say about Giants front office.

"What really annoys me is the hypocrisy of people clamoring for my head for asking for a new deal or to be traded," Umenyiora wrote in the email to The AP. "Saying I have 2 years left on my deal. These contracts only mean something to us? Where is O'Hara? Where is Seubert? True inspirational football players.

"They were cut after being injured," he said. "They have years left on their deal. Why is Jacobs asked to take a pay cut? He has years left on his deal. The fact is in the business we are in, if you get injured, or they feel like you underperformed, they cut you without hesitation. But if you clearly outplay your contract, and ask for something to be done, you're a bad guy and not a team player. It's ridiculous."

Giants Sign Defensive Tackle Gabe Watson

A 6-3, 333-pounder, Watson was a free agent after playing his first five NFL seasons with the Arizona Cardinals. He is the second former Cardinal signed by the Giants in as many days; they added tight end Ben Patrick yesterday.

Watson has played in 62 regular season games with 21 starts and in six postseason games with one start (Super Bowl XLIII vs. Pittsburgh). He has been credited with 83 tackles (38 solo), 2.0 sacks, two passes defensed and two forced fumbles.

In 2010, Watson played in seven games for the Cardinals and had seven solo tackles. He played all 16 games (all starts) for the only time in his career in 2007, when he set a personal best with 39 tackles.

sounds kinda like a bum, but the giants DT depth is pretty damn thin so i guess its a good thing.

Boss would make sense in Oakland.

The Giants reportedly had wanted a first-round pick for disgruntled defensive end Osi Umenyiora.

Report: Giants drop price tag for Osi

The Giants reportedly had wanted a first-round pick for disgruntled defensive end Osi Umenyiora. Now, the Giants reportedly want a second-round pick for Osi.

The new report comes from Mike Preston of the Baltimore Sun, who also reports that the Ravens and Patriots are two of the teams considering making the deal. Ralph Vacchiano of the New York Daily News has reported that the Rams, Chargers, Seahawks, and Broncos also are interested.

The bigger impediment remains making Umenyiora happy with a new contract. Per Preston, the Ravens likely would have to sign defensive tackle Haloti Ngata to a new deal that would drop his cap number from that eight-figure franchise tender.

Even then, it’s a risk, given Umenyiora’s injury history. Still, Preston reports that several of the Ravens’ bigwigs are urging G.M. Ozzie Newsome to do the deal.

Do the deal, get it over with. Osi had a very good career here but we're at the point of no return.

The window for Osi and his people to seek a trade is over.

Now it turns to see whether Osi will report to practice or not.

Giants could still find a way to keep him, but anything's possible.

officially re-signed Bradshaw and Michael Clayton today.

also picked up OG Stacy Andrews (brother of recently released Shawn Andrews), David Carr (lol), and TE Ben Patrick
