And are people honestly still blaming Rex Grossman for the Bears losing the Super Bowl?

How about the defense that led Dominic Rhodes and Joseph Addai run down their throats the entire night. They destroyed the middle of the Bears defense including "Lord" Urlacher.

Same with Brett's picks on three different teams. I wouldn't say they were the only cause for GB's, NY's or Minny's playoff losses. A lot of things caused the teams to lose. But Brett's picks sealed those loses.

Manning, fun and amazing to watch. He's not Goat yet, but he could have a lot of career left in him.

Brett, fun and amazing to watch, especially for us GB fans, but he's not GOAT. He's not even the GOAT of GB QB's.

        Edge's postseason numbers: 13 games 852 yards, 3.91 Y/A 6 TDs

        Terrell Davis' postseason numbers: 8 games 1104 yards, 5.59 Y/A 12 TDs

Maybe Edge has low numbers because of Peyton not giving him the ball enough or whatever, but Terrell Davis is a much better postseason weapon than Manning has had at any point in his career.

You have fun with George Blanda... I'll take Peyton.

MrBill, you are about 50 years old, yes?

The fact that you have a man-crush on a quarterback who joined your rival team, and will openly root against your squad because of that is pathetic.

              Kick rocks you old fuck.

But there's no way in hell he's the best ever. I'd take Elway, Montana, Moon, and Blanda over Manning any day.

I'd say Manning is top 3 all time. I still have Montana as my number 1 though. Peyton's only 33 and has at least 4-5 years of good football left in him. There is still time for him to cement himself as the greatest, but he hasn't done it yet.

                        Exactly.

Football fans have a tough time realizing these simple things and instead attach small fragmented events and extrapolate them to the whole game.

Manning's pick of course hurt them, it sealed the loss for sure... it didn't lose the game. They weren't guaranteed a score. It didn't cause Drew Brees to pass all across the field. It didn't cause the Saints to run a well designed, well constructed onside kick out of the halftime.

Blanda and Moon kinda rocked me a little too. I just don't get it either. Blanda was a great HOF player, but over manning at QB? I don't get it.

No, I'm a huge Peyton fan and I'm more than willing to let the guy have his 4-6 more years. He's definitely in the top 5 in my mind right now and easily projects to be the GOAT if he continues at his current pace.
