    1. Our current backup is Garret Wolfe. (Khalil Bell was tendered an offer but I don't think he accepted it yet)

    2. Taylor will challenge for the starting job.

    3. Taylor can do it all as well and is a reliable pass catcher as well.

I agree with First Timer, I don't think Chester Taylor was stupid. In today's NFL, you need two reliable backs. It is even nicer if they compliment each other, and I think Forte and Taylor will do just that. They also are both good receivers out of the backfield.

If Taylor challenges Forte at all to be the starter, I'll be very surprised. His speed and acceleration are basically down the drain at this point. I think he remains an extremely reliable 3rd down back who pass protects with the best of them.

A very valuable player who complements Forte well.

I think the Bears overpaid for Peppers, but he's still a good player. I think he'll help the Bears secondary by getting a rush on the QB, but I also think that people are downplaying how easy it was for teams to run on the Bears too. I don't know how much Peppers will help in that regard.

I think it'll help in the run D some, even on run plays your gunna have to double peppers which helps free up other guys to make plays

I think a lot of the run-stopping problems come from having a terrible secondary, and having to rely on linebackers to cover - which Briggs is horrible at. When the Bears are trying to stop the pass, the run game seems to be wide open. I think it's why we see so many blitzes too.
Urlacher is good when the Dline in the run D when the dline in front of him can eat up blocks and allow him to run sideline to sideline, he hasnt been able to do that since Tommie Harris was dominating a few years ago. If peppers can draw two and Harris can get healthy enough to eat up some blocks then i think Urlacher will have a big year, he's not very good at shedding lineman to make the play, but if they free him up our run D will be much better
