The Jets had the 4th best rushing offense, so yes, their RB corps as a whole shits on the Bucs... While Williams did have a good statistical year, both Holmes and Edwards (maybe even Cotchery) are far better... I will give you Winslow, but the TE is more of a blocker than a weapon in the Jets offense... Not to mention having the NFL's best OL rather than a patchwork group of players (who performed so poorly, they fired their OL coach this week)...

Also, since you guys keep bringing up stats, the Jets ranked 22nd in passing offense, 30th in percentage of plays that were pass plays, and Sanchez himself came in at 38th in the all important passer rating statistic...

Freeman came in at #7 overall...

lol at the people saying Sanchez is better because he has playoff wins.

I guess here we go with crediting individual players for team accomplishments again.

And Matt Cassell came in at #6. Barf! Freeman has definitely overachieved in my book. I thought he was a wasted pick. He did some nice things last year, but most times appeared overmatched against any team with a decent defense. Sanchez seems to do better against the good teams, Freeman does much worse.

LOL @ Most times. His only bad game of the season was the Baltimore game. The team as a whole was over matched against the Steelers and Saints (Game 1) earlier in the season. I attribute that to 1) No Blount/Running Game 2) Young team still trying to find their way.

Id like to know how many games you Freeman "experts" actually witnessed this season.

And you don't think any of that has to do with the supporting cast(s)???

I don't really want to get into most of this shit because there isn't much that hasn't been said(and most of the people that have hated on Freeman are Jets fans and of course are defending Sanchez, or just don't like BB and his Freeman love. Looking at you Ethan Woy). But I've read a couple posts that blame Freeman for the Lions loss which isn't even close to the truth. He led the team down the field with under two mins left and gave the Bucs the lead.

What lost that game was Olson deciding to give Caddy the ball two times in a row on dive plays then running a QB Draw with Freeman on 3rd and 6-7 while in the Redzone on said potential GW drive, when Blount was hot and Freeman was doing just fine passing the ball all game. Far too conservative and pussy. Then Raheem deciding it was ok to have Elbert Mack on Calvin Johnson in the 4th quarter and OT, turrible..

Also no one has really mentioned how for nearly 3/4s of the season the starting Center was the back-up LG at the beginning of the year(Zuttah), the starting LG was a 6th round rookie that was signed right before the season started(Ted Larsen), the RG was an undrafted rookie signed off the practice squad(Derek Hardman) and the RT spot changed between Trueblood and James Lee for most of that time. Penn was the only 16 game starter on the OL. There was no continuity at all yet Freeman made them all look good. He made all the Line calls and he bailed them out on multiple occasions with broken tackles.

But yeah, carry on the debate fellas.

BB's love for Freeman is annoying as fuck (wouldn't be annoying if you did it though ) because he's forcing him down our damn throats. That being said, I think Freeman is a fine quarterback but I'm still taking Sanchez over him for the reasons already stated by people like W2B.

I have nothing against Freeman. I just hate BB's constant dicksucking of him.

Both teams have second year QB's, second year head coaches, finished top ten in defense, top 10 in rushing, one team won 10 games and barealy missed the playoffs, the other barely made the playoffs as a 6 seed.

The Bucs and Jets are as similar as it gets. Stop pretending the Jets are some juggarnaut. They aren't that much better than the Bucs in the grand scheme of this discussion.

No, but I would like to see a QB beat some good teams and not just the bad teams. Sanchez has beaten good teams and playoff caliber teams. Freeman hasn't done this yet. No game winning drives against good teams.

So far he has had one year of good statistics against less talented teams.

I saw some team stats (running and defense) that says otherwise.
