Dspydr, I just don't understand what you are arguing for. No matter the intent or when comparing to other hits made in the league, on a single base casis the hit Harrison made was life-threatening and could have been avoided, that is not debatable. That is all that really matters here. Shouldn't the league be trying their absoulte best to be eliminating that from the game?

i'm a guy that defends good clean football most of the time, and i think on the whole the crackdown on hitting is bullshit, and i think that most of the flags for unnecessary roughness are at best kowtowing to goodell, but there is 0 defense for that play, he had like 3 steps to lower his head.
