Yeah, the Welker drop was obviously on Brady.

    Whut?
He threw a pass meant for a 6'5" wide out to a 5'8" guy. It wasn't exactly the most accurate pass thrown by Brady.

And even with the Pat's not converting they were still ahead and in position to win. Until the defense gave up a drive.
    Pointless post is pointless.

Very true. Brady "chilled" his way to a Super Bowl completitions record.

        Which is even more retarded.

It wasn't a bad throw. Brady threw to a spot, Welker's got to adjust and make that catch.

            Because it wasn't.

The only people saying it's bad throw are on VSD it seems.

Hell, NFL WR's were saying it was a player Welker should have made(CC, Keyshawn etc). Welker admitted he should have. No one is complaining about Brady's throw except some MMA junkie on VSD.

            Yawn.

There's a reason people are referring to it as Welker's drop rather than Brady's missed throw.

I get the viewpoint that Welker SHOULD have made the catch because it hits him in the hands but people thinking Brady made a great throw there need to get a grip. That ball was high and to the outside and Welker had to spin and reach to even get his hands on it. A good throw by Brady there and Welker likely scores the game clinching TD.

I never said it was a great throw. I just said it wasn't a "poor throw".

LOL at Welker scoring on that play.

Brady can't lead him inside because of the safety help.

He has to throw the ball back shoulder to the sideline as that's the open area.

If Brady leads Welker up the field he gets Welker killed or possibly throws a pick.

Boomer agrees it was a bad throw, he had a guy in stride, open and had Welker jumping and turning

Compare it to the Manningham catch, in stride, in his hands and he just had to get his feet down

It's a completely different throw on a different route into double coverage look rather than having to drop it in around 3 defenders.

Go beat off to Zuffa or something.

LOL @ FirstTimer defending Brady's throw to Welker.

Hey, lets keep bringing up MMA, those are great points!

Yeah, a guy wide open between 3 guys compared to a guy with 2 guys all over him

Bradys throws was not a good throw, Mannings was on the money, Eli outplayed Brady easily in that game

LOL at "wide open" when you have to take into account where that throw has to be located given the defensive positioning.

Bro, that ball was high and to the outside and moving fast. It was a hell of an athletic play for Welker to get his hands on it. He could have caught it, yes, but it was still a poor throw.

Please explain how Welker wasnt wide open, OMG THERE WERE DEFENDERS ON THE FIELD, MAYBE 11 OF THEM EVEN

Also, explain how Eli didnt easily out play Brady, Brady did nothing after the first drive of the 3rd quarter, threw a pick and got a safety called on him on the first play he had

Eli, no picks and actually showed up in the 4th quarter, you're right, toss up between Brady and Eli in that game
