Who cares if he's innocent. He has no history of this kind of behavior, but he has a long history of distracting, retarded behavior. This adds to that. And this is exactly the reason you don't sign Johnson in the first place. He can't play anymore, and it's a constant circus. Now you have players like Karlos Dansby criticizing the team for cutting him. He's not worth he trouble, but Miami made this bed by bringing him in to begin with.

Looks like Joe Philbin is bringing over the no-tolerance-for-nonsense mentality from the Packers organization. Guys that have off the field issues (i.e. Johnny Jolly) are always immediately sent packing out there. Chad Johnson, even if he could still be a quality WR, is nothing but a distraction both on and off the field, and that causes issues that Philbin surely has no interest in dealing with.

Chad Johnson just lost another job ... VH1 tells TMZ the network is cancelling plans to air Chad's upcoming reality show in the wake of his domestic violence arrest.

The series, titled "Ev and Ocho" is already in the can and was supposed to debut on Sept. 3.

But now, after Chad was arrested for allegedly headbutting his wife Evelyn Lozada ... VH1 tells us:

"Due to the unfortunate events over the weekend and the seriousness of the allegations, VH1 is pulling the series 'Ev and Ocho' from its schedule and has no current plans of airing it."

The show was a spinoff of "Basketball Wives" ... which followed the couple's relationship from dating to engagement. The new show was supposed to focus on "the journey of this charismatic and passionate couple's every step, as they prepare to walk down the aisle and into each other's hearts forever."

Chad Johnson's wife Evelyn Lozada had a bleeding gash on her forehead when she ran to her neighbor for help this weekend ... this according to the neighbor -- who begged 911 dispatch to keep the whole situation hush-hush.

As we first reported, Evelyn fled to her neighbor's house following a domestic dispute with Chad Saturday night, during which the NFL star allegedly head-butted her in the forehead.

The neighbor called 911 -- telling the dispatcher, Chad "hit her on the head ... She has a nice cut on the forehead that I believe is going to need stitches."

But the neighbor wasn't just worried about Evelyn's cut, he was also freaking out about an inevitable media firestorm surrounding the domestic dispute ... telling the dispatcher, Chad is a "very high-profile person and we'd like to keep this as quiet as possible."

He pleaded, "We don't need the news here."

So much for that.
