Dimitri Patterson's been suspended by the Jets indefinitely after going AWOL and missing the Giants game. I heard on WFAN he wasn't happy about his place in the 'pecking order'. If that's true, Idzik should cut his dumb ass ASAP. But the Jets are desperate at that position, so I doubt it'll happen.

Imagine if any of us pulled that wack shit at our jobs.

            NFL Week 1 Discussion

Week 1 is only 2 days away. The season starts with the Packers going to Seattle trying to get revenge for the infamous "Fail Mary" game back in 2012. Here's the schedule for the coming week-

Looks like the only game I'm going to be watching is the Colts and Broncos. So many things conspiring against me watching the Redskins or the Thursday/Monday night games

Some really tough games to pick and some huge spreads.

I'm excited. This season seems completely up in the air with only a couple of top tier teams.

Lots of divisions can go to any team. NFC East is going to be tough on each other, and the NFC West will once again be super tough. The AFC North will be tough again, and the Bengals are a team I am watching closely. While Jay Gruden did a great job getting the offense back on track, it will be interesting to see what Hue Jackson does with the offense under his watch.

Buffalo has a tough Week 1 match-up. Chicago at home in Week 1 is usually an auto win for them. I can't remember the last time they lost a home opener. Buffalo is good at going 6-10 every season but I don't see them winning 6 games this year. We will probably get the 1st or 2nd pick in the draft then be forced to give it to Cleveland for moving up to get Sammy Watkins.

Crazy games today. The Saints had the Falcons beat early but let them stay in the game and then lost in OT. The Dolphins looked strong against the Patriots. The 49ers are dismantling the Cowboys.

Dolphins 2nd half defense was dominating. This after suffering injuries. Brady couldn't move the ball one bit.

Pittsburgh played Cleveland like the starters sat out in the 3rd week of preseason.

Romo looks horrible. Dallas looks awful. I can't believe they still have Garrett coaching this team.

yah - Romo has thrown big INTs before he was just really lobbing it up for grabs today.
3rd & 14, inside your own 15, up 6, 3:20min left to go = call a PA Pass and Cancel. *its Legit, so no needless complaining

Texans lose Clowney for 4-6 weeks...that's a huge blow to them.

Jadeveon Clowney tears meniscus, out 4-6 weeks

The Houston Texans will have to make due without their No. 1 overall pick for the foreseeable future.

NFL Media Insider Ian Rapoport reported Sunday that linebacker Jadeveon Clowney will undergo surgery on Monday to repair a torn meniscus in his knee, according to a source who has spoken to the rookie. Clowney is expected to miss four to six weeks.

Clowney suffered the injury during Houston's 17-6 win over the Washington Redskins on Sunday. He limped to the locker room late in the second quarter and did not return. He had one tackle for a loss before his exit.

NFL Media's Albert Breer reported earlier on Sunday that Clowney also sprained his MCL, according to two sources.

Clowney has had injury issues since being taken with the first pick in the 2014 NFL Draft. The former South Carolina star missed extended time this summer after undergoing sports hernia surgery.

A big Sunday for the Texans' franchise has turned bittersweet.
