First, I was in the car when this l went to air and the initial report was that you could see him spitting. Clearly he didn't spit, however, I did not intentionally misrepresent what was in the video. Otherwise, I would not have posted the video.

Second, everyone is getting really touchy. I think the whole thing is great. The fact that the fans and teams are antagonizing each other to the nth degree is really what makes playoff hockey so damn entertaining.

Third, we all have our own opinions regarding this series and the players in it. Those opinions are clearly not going to change, but, if you want me to cut the bullshit this is what I think about the series thus far:

• Tampa's passing has been very poor the last few games and they've been able to get away with it. I hope that tonight the passing is better and leads to more scoring chances
• Boston is clearly the more physical team. IMVHO, Tampa is the faster and more skilled team. I think tonight, you see the Bruins try to slow down the pace of the game and create scoring chances in transition as opposed to racing up and down the ice with the Lightning
• Obviously, I think Tampa needs to do the opposite and put the pedal to the ground and go
• I'm shocked that Boston is content with using Chara as a screen as opposed to letting him get set and fire at Roloson with his 106 mph shot
• I think all the pressure is on Boston. No one expected this from the Lightning - if they lose, all the pundits will talk about the fantastic job Guy Boucher, Steve Yzerman and Jeff Vinik have done to turn the team around.

I don't watch playoff hockey to see the fans and players get involved, and that does NOT make playoff hockey so damn entertaining. In fact I hate fans getting involved more then being the noise in the building, and perhaps what the green guys do. Throwing shit on the ice to me is pure disrespect and in no way entertaining. As someone mentioned, what if one of those plastic clackers hits a player in the eye? Is that entertaining?

Playoff hockey is entertaining because the PLAYERS make it so. The speed of the game, the intensity of it all is what makes playoff hockey the best of all the playoffs. No petty fan bullshit.

I don't get why it takes a game 7 to get the refs to call a game this way. Game has been exciting back and forth and refs have done a great job letting things go. No complaints. Go Bs!
