They are not talked about because sorry to say, I think they are the least exciting team of the "contenders" outside of Dats. Every other team just seems to have some kind of fire and life. I watched the WIngs game today and I honestly couldn't say that was a playoff game feeling. I can see for a Wings fan it was great, but to me, it is one of the worst series of them all that I have seen. Sharks/LA, Vancouver/Chicago and Nashville/Ducks are way more entertaining series.

No one really counts them out or under the radar. They are always on the radar, but you can only point out the blip on the radar screen so many times.

Being a die-hard Wings fan, this post is 100% truth.

IMO this is a terrible series to watch, I hate watching the Wings play Phoenix in the regular season, and even more so in the playoffs, but I'm glad it's them and not Nashville. Nashville - Detroit games are so gritty and rough, drives me nuts.

This is an honest post, not a montreal-shot. When you look at this seris, the storyline is more about what the Bruins are doing wrong then what Montreal is doing right. The giveaways are killing Boston. Some of the passes they are making just makes you shake your head. And when they get down early, they seem to scramble and don't know how to play properly. I think I saw the stat last night that said Boston was outshootng Montreal 47-28 in the series at one point. But the scoring chances are just terrible. Shots so far were 31-20 and 35-26 Boston. So when Montral gets up, they just settle back and play a defence game.

No one is going to give Montreal much credit due to their lackluster regular season performance. Camy, Gionta and Gomez did shit all season, and they are luck as shit that they even got into the playoffs and didn't start their crap season a month before. And Price is playing god now, but he has a history.

I can give Montreal some credit, but Boston is fucking up more and their play is not what it was in the regular season. It makes you wonder what is going on behind the scenes.

In other news, the Sharks getting shut out last night after putting 34 shots on net, and not having to deal with Stoll AND Thorton/Marleau have 0 points and are a -3 really does something in this series. I picked the Sharks to win the series, but I wish I could have put an * beside it and had a chance to ask those two if they were going to show up in the series or not again this year.

Buffalo and the Flyers didn't look like a beach ball could be stopped. I think this is the East equal to the DET/PHX series. I just don't care to watch it at all.

Sunday looks like a good day for hockey. Two 'must win' games today and you could also throw the Nashville game in that for a third, as I'd say it is a must win with Bobby Ryan out of the line up. Preds could lock up the series without the big gun around.

The sharks getting shut out last night and the whole thorton/marleau/seto line having a bunch of Os is just hilarious.

If the sharks didn't have Couture this series could easily be 0-2 right now.

Big game for the rangers to win. Third goal shouldn't have happened, as the washington player not on the boards should have got his stick in there to try and get the puck out. But he backed off and tried to hit Dubinsky and Dubs ends up with the puck and puts it in. All four caps righ there as well.

Unfortunately for the Hawks, they played as good as they possibly could tonight in the 1st period and it still wasnt enough. By time the 3rd came around, it was the same Vancouver team that has been raping. Just play hard in the next game boys, and get ready for next season.
