Wings don't show up, but with Kronwall out and him being a major piece to the Wings success recently, and a hot Predator team, we didn't do good at all last night. Bleh...
someone explain to me wtf was going on with the guy who blatantly slapped his goalie with his stick? was that real or so fucking blantant, that he should be suspended the whole year?

Wes Welker is a great player. He's really taken advantage of watching film. If we don't keep a Spy on him, he could really open the Gate.

You watching SportsCenter too? Since it was just on, I came in here looking for a post about it.
The Vokoun thing. I lol'd at that. Only because it messed up Wr50l's fantasy team for this week.
Basically after the goal the defender was pissed and went to break his stick over the post. Instead though he nailed his goalie in the head. Pretty dumb move but he was probably pissed and wasn't thinking.
Leafs trade Tlusty to Carolina for Philippe Paradis. Paradis was Carolina's first round pick this past year and is only 18 years old.
Tlusty is 21 and apparantly plays soft and burke was trying to get rid of him. Main problem people were hearing was Tlusty wanted in the NHL now and was threatning to goto the KHL. He basically didn't want to be a part of a rebuilding team.
Here's the level of idiocy I deal with from my fellow Flyers fans...this was a response to a report that Scott Hartnell may be traded to break up the 'Old City Crew' of young Flyers players on the team:
"It would not suprise me if the team is still struggling say come Feb 15, that Richards, Carter AND Hartnell are all moved. Get some first round picks back, maybe some "decent" players on expiring contracts, and they will use the money to bring in some good talent when UFAs hit the market. We have what 14 million dollars tied up in these 3 guys...add Gagne to the mix as well assuming he is finally willing to waive that NTC."
Yea, trade your captain, a 50 goal scorer, and one of your two players who likes to camp in front of the net, and start rebuilding a team that just traded for Pronger and was picked to compete for the cup......ugh
