Filed to ESPN: Tampa Bay traded defensive end Gaines Adams to the Chicago Bears for a 2010 draft pick thought to be a second-round pick.

That sucks for the Bucs to have a #4 pick not pan out. From what I've seen, Adams is still relying too much on his athleticism.

They need some more receiver help rather than defensive help, only if they could convert Adams into a linebacker to help fill Urlacher's spot, than this is a good deal

How the hell would making a DE into a MLB help the Bears defense? This was done IMO because of Adewale Ogunleye (Not gonna be re-signed now) and Mark Anderson (May get re-signed as a Pass-Rush specialist) becoming free agents at the the end of the season.

You shouldn't be. Gaines Adams is awful. Not only does he rely too much on his speed, he rushes way too deep and does not adjust any part of his game. He simply thinks he can run around people using some fish-hook route to the quarterback.

He didn't pan out because he has absolutely no killer instinct and will literally run away from contact. Wait till you see this guy disappear in a game.
