Andrei Arlovski's days as a fighter for Affliction Entertainment are over.

Fighters Only first reported that Affliction Vice President Tom Atencio will not offer Arlovski a new contract now that his original deal has expired. MMAjunkie.com has since independently confirmed the news.

Arlovski (15-7), a former UFC heavyweight champion, most recently suffered a 22-second TKO loss to Brett Rogers at a June 6 Strikeforce event. He earned $2.25 million for his two Affliction fights.

AA needs to jump back in the UFC anyway. Everyone is down on him from his last loss, but I still can't wait to see him fight again, he's still one of the best talents in the HW division IMO.

Yeah, I still like to watch AA and he has all the tools, he will get back to basics, this last KO was a eye opener or closer however you want to look at it :box:

Strikeforce or the UFC will pick him up and for a lot cheaper now

Does Sanchez not hit as hard as it looks ?

Hes kneed guys dead in the face , kneed Kos like 438504598 xon TUF right on the forehead , and that kick to Guida.
Yet none of them were KOd or even stunned for very long.

One KO in his career . Or am I over thinking it ?

next stop TUF the comeback 2.

AA vs Overeem would be fun, not sure how you get there on less Rogers beats him.

Is it just me or is this a point were a Carwin vs Big Tim or AA vs CV fight would do alot to solitifiy the HW division. help keep buy rates from determining title fights

                    Nice highlights.

LOL@ Gomi getting "shocked" twice though.

AA glass jaw routine was great at the end.

those gomi loses were huge upsets at the time though. when he went against hansen he was 14-0 and hansen was a relative unknown with a record of only 5-1-1. by the time gomi faced aurelio he was by far the most dominant LW fighter in Pride (and the consensus number 2 LW in the world after Penn) with a record of 22-2 and was just coming off being crowned the Lightweight Grand Prix Champion.

Doesn't he have one fight left on his contract and has said he wants to be an actor after?

I recall a Dana blackball on him for some reason...

KOF doesnt like Japanese fighters or Japanese MMA, Gomi was the man for a couple years and those were big upsets at the time, his record during that time speaks for itself

Not saying KOF is doing that, but to many fans in MMA love to rewrite history to put down fighters and fights in the past
