            - TNA President Dixie Carter spoke to talents prior to Thursday's Impact Wrestling tapings about possibly continuing with their budget cuts. Also in attendance were Jeff Jarrett, TNA CFO Dean Broadhead and EVP Andy Barton.

Dixie noted that one of the reasons for the cuts and restructuring were how much money they spent taping all the One Night Only pay-per-views earlier this year. These shows were pre-recorded in place of the eight pay-per-views that TNA cut from their annual schedule, in order to save money.

New Executive Vice President of Television Production John Gaburick received strong praise within the locker room. Talents acknowledged the more positive vibe with Gaburick compared to when recently released executive Bruce Prichard was in that role.
So why did they do those PPV's again? So shortsighted by TNA, and after all of this, they needed to get out of the Impact Zone but not at the expense of so many people on their roster and office. I know we've joked about it, but I really do wonder how much of TNA, as they exist even now, will be around at this same time next year.

They had to tape those shows to fulfill international PPV commitments.

The budget cuts have nothing to do with the One Night Only tapings. They shot 8 PPV's in like 2 or 3 days, that actually saved money. If Dixie said that, and I have my doubts and think this report is misphrased, she is full of shit.

The reason TNA is in a hole right now is the $60,000 it costs them per Impact taping. The writing was on the wall when they quickly stopped going live every week and switched to shooting two shows at once twice per month.

Going on the road has been a bust. Everybody agrees they needed to leave the Impact Zone, but they miscalculated when they were ready. They weren't.

VERY smart finish of the ADR/Sheamus match.

Del Rio works the busted leg and when Sheamus can't lift him for the finish, Del Rio rolls him up and pins him using the same busted leg.

Great psychology... luckily they picked that instead of the Armbar because there was literally NO work on that.

I guess WWE forgot they are doing the whole "Be a Star" campaign

Henry should be running train on everyone against him aside from Cena.

Instead, he's gotta get help from the fuckin' Usos.

Not that the amount of dues paid in the ring goes above two decades plus but Mark should be ROFL-stomping people.

It's not like it would take much changing, just have the Usos in a match, get ambushed by the Shield, and have Henry come out to save them.

I still say PTP need just a little bit more to get over the hump.

                        Teddy Long's free these days.

As it stands, Henry doesn't like/hate the Usos enough to be involved with them.

If this going to turn into a 6-way team feud, it's going to be out of convenience.

Your first segment on RAW and we have the one with the weird hair slap Jerry Lawler (not that he doesn't deserve it) for no reason.

"To make a name for yourself" as a female wrestler in the WWE either equals you having everyone in the locker have a turn OR...

                            You're an actual good wrestler.

It's hard to find the latter.

That women's segment was an abomination and Jerry deserves a raise for not putting up a fuss
