Do you read Observer or listen to the audio? dave consistently rips WWE daily, and dave & Bryan Alvarez usually think Impact is pretty good, to the point people make fun of them all of the time on the message board for liking it.
The reason dave bashes TNA from a business perspective so much is because...well, that should be obvious.Comment

TNA making a fuss over Bellator guys is ridiculous when they won't get much in return IMO. The same people watch their TV regardless of if it's shit or good. Nobody buys their ppvs and they apparently can't draw all that solid for most live events.
WTF is the point of giving any TV time to Mo, Rampage & Tito? Here....They'll get the latter two involved somehow...perhaps a multi person tag.
They're hoping the MMA rub gives their show life leading into BFG. Worth a shot cause they literally have nothing else going for them. Nothing.
I would bet half of whatever that PPV gets will be more than all of what they get for a stand alone BFG.Comment

TNA Impact on Thursday, August 1 scored a 1.03 rating, down slightly from a 1.05 rating last week.
TNA attempted an "August 1 Warning" social media blitz from Friday of last week up until Impact on Thursday, but Impact declined five percent in viewership.
Impact averaged 1.246 million viewers, compared to an average of 1.314 million viewers last week.
Impact has steadily declined since drawing a 1.18 rating and 1.494 million viewers for the "Destination X" Impact two weeks ago. But, Impact has remained above a 1.0 rating for three consecutive weeks for the first time since the end of March to the beginning of April.
- On cable TV Thursday night, Impact ranked #40 in overall viewers, #21 in males 18-34, and #20 in males 18-49.
Impact's m18-34 rating jumped nearly two-tenths of a rating (but was still below the Destination X rating), while the older demographic of males 18-49 showed slight improvement from last week.
The other demos increased slightly, which means the overall rating likely declined because of a drop in the audience outside of the 18-49 range.
- One year ago this week, Impact scored a 1.01 rating and the demo ratings were virtually the same as this week's episode. The only significant difference is Impact scored a better rating among younger viewers last year compared to this week.
I have no idea if it's because of the novelty aspect of focusing on the X guys for a few weeks, or if it's a real indication of anything, but fuck, why not run with it one of these times and see? They always do very well with it, then abandon it, and ratings & show quality instantly decline again.Comment

Alex Riley has an announcing job now?
Good.
Reminds me of a college player that shit-the-bed in the NFL and got a commentating job at ESPN.Comment

There are exactly three places to get legit news. Meltzer, Pro Wrestling Torch, Pro Wrestling Insider. Those are the only places with real sources who report credible news. Anyplace else, you are getting copy & paste sites, and in many cases they add their own spin to the things that the other three report so you are getting bullshit mixed in. The best you can hope for is a verbatim copy & paste.
It;s no coincidence that these sites post a ton of news Wed/Thu. That's when Observer comes out, lol.Comment

This arrangement means more for Bellator because the 1.2 million people who watch Impact are exposed to Mo, Rampage, & Tito. So you figure some of them will be intrigued enough to try the MMA at some point.Comment
