Hard to say, the game has changed with the Network. Would need to know how many subscribers they have by then.

They've been doing 1.2M worldwide the last two years. Based on the old standard, i'd day anything under 1M is enough of a step back for a solid LOL. But we can't measure against that anymore. We need to combine Network buys + PPV buys.

The days of calculating gross profit for PPV's & Mania are also over until we get a financial report with total Network buys, and somehow factor that into the equation. But even then, your entire $9.99 isn't going towards the PPV's like your $54.99 used to. Everything has changed.

The appendix of wrestling (and by that, I mean it can be removed at any time), it's Botchamania 244: The Evil That Meng Do! Music... No Easy Way Out by Robert Tepper Re-Rewind (The Crowd Say Bo Selecta) by The Artful Dodger feat. Craig David Ghost Valley by Soyo Oka, Taro Bando (Super Mario Kart) Compression of Time by Nobuo Uematsu (Final Fantasy VIII) Thanks To... Superfan Enrique for Trent Baretta's intro. Hoodslam for the bag of unmarked bills. *Another* one PPV video. It was a much better show than Royal Rumble though, with Swagger vs. Langston, O'Neil vs. Young, the chamber and of course...The Wyatts vs. The Shield all worth a watch. And then they have to go and ruin it with Batista vs. ADR, AJ vs. whoever isn't injured, The Usos vs. NAO and a stupid amount of technical issues for such a tech-efficient company. The videos are shorter than they used to be so I can upload them onto Vimeo, who have stricter upload criteria but seem to last longer online than YouTube. So there. And anyone moaning about the advert can pay me more than what Hoodslam are paying and I would be delighted to remove it.

        LOVE IT!

"Sunday's TNA TV One Night Only PPV taping from Sumo Hall in Tokyo with air live on G+ in Japan starting at 6 p.m."

This is good news. This means it'll be uploaded on DailyMotion within 24-48 hours.

Nobody cares about Hulk Hogan anymore. Can't use the TNA excuse. It's over.
To say no one cares about Hulk Hogan anymore is you being the indie guy. I absolutely agree Hogan is no longer a main eventer and should absolutely not get in the ring again, but to say no one cares again is ridiculous. I think the Wrestlemania host thing is perfect for him, if done properly. Hogan being a player in the WWE Network is also appropriate. Truthfully, I was never a fan of Hogan in his WWE or WCW prime, I felt he was overrated. As time goes on, I appreciate his value to the business. Heck, even Chris Jericho does. In his book Jericho says Hogan in his late 40s let Jericho call the matches in the early 2000s.

It's hyperbole, dave. He doesn't move the needle anymore. If you think he does, show me some evidence. I have Monday + three years of TNA that say otherwise.

Don't get me wrong, I don't entirely disagree with you. I agree he doesn't move the needle anymore. But he still matters. He's 60 years old (or so), I absolutely agree he doesn't move the needle, but he still matters. Bruno Sammartino doesn't move the needle either, but he matters. Either as a Wrestlemania host is ok to me. Hulk Hogan matters, even if the ratings don't change.

I have no problem with trotting him out there for nostalgia, but what you quoted and disagreed with was me bashing his drawing ability. "Nobody cares" was hyperbole, maybe that was the disconnect. In reality RAW was up from the week before, but way below what was expected based on being the day after a PPV, network hype all day, Hogan, Undertaker, etc.

I agree with you on the ratings issue. Honestly, I don't think the WWE did enough to promote that RAW and that 104-year-old photo of The Undertaker didn't help either. IMO, both Hogan and Undertaker are nostalgia acts now ... though, to be fair, Undertaker can still work. That said, I wish they'd finally say this is it for The Undertaker. It's time to end it. I'm ok with him keeping The Streak, but it's time to end it and retire him.

Best thing Hogan could ever do for his career at this point is go away for 5 years. But he's just as big a carny as the rest of them. When someone puts a dollar on a string, he'll pop his head up. He can't help himself.

Why would he go away for 5 years? That's insane. He still looks like Hulk Hogan and can still make money. I get that he can't be in the ring anymore, but he still looks like Hulk Hogan and has nostalgia factor. And of course he goes for the cash ... he's not stupid.

Five years is a bit extreme, but he goes away for a year or so, and a comeback is a big deal. Many people who wanted to see him could tune into Spike every Thursday night for the past three years up until a few month ago.

Just me, Thomas. I don't get Spike. Other than the Net, this is the first time I've since Hogan in years.
