BTW, I think that's the same show that had Austin Aries punching a "fan." They had two unruly guys during the show that kept talking shit. After the ROH show ended, these two guys waited by the backdoor for Aries. Aries challenged them and ended up knocking one out in the jaw with a left.

Supposedly it was all fake but the punch was real and the dude ended up with a fucked up jaw.

Raw's rating has dropped immensely the past two weeks. Last night was a 2.37, lowest since 1997.

You know Vince had to blow up over that. I wonder what he's going to do to shake things up.

To be fair he went up against a monster MNF matchup but still... there's an underlying reason why their rating is tanking that much.

They are going to have to seriously rethink what they are doing.

I don't really think MNF has TOO much to do with it...some, yes, but they haven't dropped this low during MNF season in the past 13 years. A little dip would be normal, but not this.

I just wonder what they'll do. I really don't think turning Cena heel is the right thing to do at this point. Isn't the same demo that wants to see him turn heel is the same demo that, in theory, Orton's face character is marketed towards...the same group that is not watching his title run?

Well this week's MNF was the 5th most watched show in cable history.

It was a historically successful game. I'm just saying. It's not an excuse, they knew when the season was going to start, the point is people are continuing to go to the alternatives as opposed to watching Raw.

Nobody cares about Orton or Sheamus. They just don't.

I could be wrong, but I think the crowd actually does pop for Orton.
Only judging it by TV, to be sure, but the crowds seem to dig him.
As for Sheamus, not so much. I don't think he's horrible or anything, but I just don't get how he's a 2-time world champ.

The only thing I don't get about Orton is how he's even remotely a face. He is not a face whatsoever.
