I think Davey wins, and Roderick turns on Martini, thus killing off the character. It was a Pearce gimmick, Delirious seems to favor the old approach with all of the clean finishes and focus on in ring instead of goofy characters.

That's pretty much my hope as well.

Its not even so much that the overall approach with the heel champion having a manager was terrible. Unnecessary, but not awful. It was just that Martini is completely lackluster in the role. The character just doesn't really add anything. If you had a really good manager who a really talker take that role, it might have worked.
