You and me both. I'm still scratching my head. I was thinking it was gonna be either Flair or even Bischoff.

Unreal. Not only do we get some ridiculous angle about Donald Trump buying Raw, but we get a continuation of the Orton-Triple H feud that absolutely no one wanted to see? Fucking why?

Nobody wanted to see it in March... so let's do it AGAIN!

Seriously how many times now have we had this feud in some capacity?

I think we're up to 5 including the Rated RKO vs. DX stuff.

Lol @ Trump "buying" Raw and then not even being able to do a live satellite feed. Everything from last nite was pre-recorded hard..

I watched some of RAW which gave me some wrestling time for the first time in ages...

I saw Goldust stutter, which was awesome...also saw a Macho Man DVD commercial, double awesome.

            Everything else...kind of shit.

            wtf...Trump "buys" RAW...that'll last 10 minutes.

After seeing the Misawa thread (RIP), got me thinking about this game

Did any of you fruits play this game back in the day for N64? Virtual Pro Wrestler 2, you had to have the adapter to play Japanese games, best wrestling/fighting game ever, had MMA moves and fighters in it also like Bas, Rickson, Kerr, etc..

In this clip they have some Misawa stuff

Never played it, but it looks sweet. Looks like Kobashi that they have against Misawa. Those two put on some amazing matches.

I thought Big Show's work in that fatal four-way on RAW might have been his best ever.
Frankly, they should have handed him the belt for that performance alone.

Dragon Gate USA anounced that all live events will air on PPV. They also announced Bryan Danielson and Davey Richards for the second show in Chicago.

With ROH dying a slow death since firing Gabe, DGUSA immediately becomes the best US based promotion, the moment the bell sounds for event #1 in Philly.

You don't think AA's title reign will turn things at all for ROH?

It just hasn't been the same. Last ROH event I went to, there was probably 200-300 less people in attendance and there was just no crowd reaction it was bland beyond belief.

I'm going back the 27th so we'll see what happens, but yeah I think W2B is right.

As much as I love "The Greatest Man Who Ever Lived", A-Double, ROH is a shell of what it was.

Adam Pearce has completely changed the product, which, to be fair, is why Cary Silken hired him, but it's been for the worse.

Case in point...Bigpapa, you were at the Houston show where KENTA & Davey Richards tore the house down. By far the best match of the night. Well, Pearce laced into both guys after the match, because they "did too much", which I guess meant it was too hard for the main event to follow.

That's utter bullshit. In the Sapolsky era, everyone was encouraged to have the best match possible. It catered to a niche audience, but at least it was some sort of audience....the Pearce toned down, screwjob laden, "less is more" booking appeals to no one.

Sapolsky was critisized for burning out crowds with loaded shows that ran too long. But hey, I'd rather be burnt out than bored. I never felt ripped off after a Gabe show. The Pearce shows are straight up trash.

Attendance is in the toilet, they've dropped PPV, and the hardcore audience is completely turned off by the Pearce product. Mark Cuban supposedly turned them down to buy a piece of the company, so yeah, they are probably pretty much fucked.

Simple point in bold, pretty much sums it up. It's just not the same.

ROH 2009 reminds me of ECW 1997/98, when you just knew the wheels were coming off, and it just wasnt the same.

What can change? Who does he have to defend against?

Nigel won't be back for awhile, does anyone want to see Black challenge for the belt right now?

Dragon is w/o a ROH contract, so supposedly, he's not going to be a stable main eventer right now.
