AW squashing his chances to be re-hired by ranting on twitter?
Wrestling Observer editor Dave Meltzer sees things otherwise.
He posted on the F4WOnline.com message board, "The more he says, the better his chances of being brought back in a while.
"Vince has no respect for people he bullies and don't fight back.
"He hired Bischoff, Bret (spent ten years begging for him to comeback and even brought him back after Bret walked out on him the day of Mania), Sable, Billy Graham, yet never touched Heenan except for one shots. I doubt even he knows it but he's playing it smart in the long run."

Hardcore Justice has been awesome tonight so far. Kenny King/Ion was great tonight, the ladder match delivered and the table match was surprisingly good. I actually thought they were going to pull the trigger on King being X-Division champ, but I'm kinda glad they didn't because it would be too soon.

Hardcore Justice was actually pretty damn good.
I felt the results from the Bound For Glory Series matches were the right ones. They basically took three guys and elevated the and put them in the mix. It is no longer a Samoa Joe/James Storm race...RVD, Bully Ray, and AJ Styles all back in the mix and their matches will be worth a damn here on out. I thought it was a good use of these "big, important" matches.
Aries/Roode
Ladder Match
Those were very good.
Thought a lot of the storyline progression was good too.Comment

If nothing else, TNA can now be counted on to be logical. Not everything lands, but that's ok. It's a real, viable alternative at this point.Comment

They have some sports entertainment aspects...Aces n 8's and the Claire Lynch shit (which, is awful, but it features AJ, Daniels, and Kaz...they make the matches work with this awful backdrop)...
They've got a very strong upper and mid card. They legitimately give 12 of their upper and mid card wrestlers legitimate purpose for 6 months out of the year with a big payoff and it could result in feuds that could last months after and leading into the next BFG Series.
X-Division needs some more depth of talent, but it gives you that cruiserweight function.
Chicks need more depth and talent, but its 5m every week and I ain't mad.
And honestly, if you have Devon, Chavo, Eric Young, and the like as your curtain jerker crew, you aren't doing all that bad.
Plus, they have a nice intro segment once a month to introduce new talent.
Not everything is a home run, but they are getting on base at a .400 clip right now. If they continue with this, I gotta think they'll continue to stay live and maybe word of mouth catches and they will develop more fans.
They do need to get out of the Impact Zone, but they might want to make more money before they do that.Comment

With Japan dried up at the moment with nothing emerging, the most interesting promotions for me are TNA & DGUSA/EVOLVE. For the year, I rank it this way as far as my interest level:
1. New Japan
2. Dragon Gate
3. DGUSA/EVOLVE
4. TNA
5. All Japan
6. NOAH
7. WWE
8. ROH
9. Zero One
10. random lucha shit with no context, AAA/CMLL
First group has my full attention. Second group has been awesome at times, bad at others. Third group is habit viewing/keep one eye on it. Fourth group is I watch when I hear something great happened, but don't really keep up.Comment

ROH has definitely hit that level for me now, I don't seek out videos/shows, don't watch their TV, it's just a blah product these days.Comment

ROH isn't like, putrid, bad wrestling programming.
It is just super uneventful and blah.Comment

Yeah, don't get me wrong, it's not bad. It's just nothing I have any interest in. With limited time, I don't really want to watch boring wrestling.Comment

Remember, the test run was supposed to be 'worldwide', and people ended up depositing money but were unable to order the show. Hopefully the kinks are worked out. I'll probably let everybody else guinea pig it, and then order the second one depending on the reports.
Hopefully everything is smooth and good to go by the time they do the Tanahashi/Marufuji IWGP Title match in September.
Okada won G1, so another Tanahashi/Okada title match is coming at some point too. Maybe they hold it off until WrestleKingdom.Comment
