I enjoyed Claudio on Smackdown tonight. He's basically doing the 'Very European' gimmick from 2009 ROH, but it was much better in ROH. He needs the scarf and the Starbucks.

I think the leader will be Jarrett, but he could be supported by either Chris Masters or John Morrison. Will be interesting to see.
As for someone mentioning Jericho, it is a shame that his last match will be at Summer Slam for awhile, as Fozzy is going on tour. He's done absolutely nothing since coming back, as I feel WWE has totally mismanaged his character. The only saving thing would be if he puts over Ziggler and he goes on to win the WHC and sticks at the top of the company.
Personally, I think Masters is the perfect candidate for shit like "Gut Check!" Instead of these nobodies, which are cool...would be good to use a former WWE talent to spring board them into the show.
He's a bit leaner but more cut these days...actually has a good look with the beard. But, I'm all for Masters to TNA.Comment

I've been saying from the start that they should do a few Gut Checks with established former WWE stars. This way, it looks like former WWE guys are dying to be part of TNA instead of vice versa, and making a big deal out of worthless no talents like Tiffany, ffs.
If somebody like Tyler Reks were to get cut, i'd Gut Check his ass and have Taz or Snow say things like, "This is TNA, where the real talent is, what makes you think you can hang in the number one company in the world?" Instead, they still have this stepchild syndrome, and casual fans pick up on that shit. It's like going on a date, and having no confidence. You aren't getting ass at the end of the night.
And Wes Brisco is definitely the guy with the flowing yellow hair who wears the vest.Comment

Listen, I don't mind the occasional Gut Check guy that is some random Indy Geek, I mean, introducing new talent should come in all forms. But, they should throw in some established talents, too. They also need to reject some of these fucking talents. They've told all of these guys yes except for Joey Ryan lol.
They are sending most of these guys to OVW, or are already there in the first place, no? I mean, that Taeler Hendrix chick was the OVW Women's Champ when she was on Gut Check IIRC.
I mean, they should at least make note that these guys don't get signed by TNA, but are sent down to developmental...outside of Joey Ryan, no one has been seen since they've won Gut Check. lol.Comment

I think this chubby jobber next week is getting the boot. He looks like such shit.
To be fair, the plan was to say no to the first guy, but Flair fucked up and said yes during the taping. Their was a communication breakdown, and he thought it was a shoot and since he liked the guy, he said yes. Somebody else was supposed to say no, but somewhere along the line it got screwed up. The guy doesn't have a visa so he's back in Canada waiting.Comment

They could do some good gimmicks with these things.
Have a guy show up, Gut Check...get rejected. Months later...try out again...get rejected...you can have it so a year later he tries out for a third time and actually wins his Gut Check match or something.
But really...the major problem is they are constantly saying yes to these scrubs...its like, they are saying scrubs are "TNA worthy"...its the opposite of what you were trying to say they should do by having former WWE talents do it...
Alex Silva was in April...he was the guy that they accidentally said yes to, no? He's on the OVW roster.
Joey Ran was in May and voted no, but it is an obvious program.
Taeler Hendrix was in June and was already in OVW, was their champ, and they said yes.
Sam Shaw was July, said yes, and they sent him down to OVW.
They've essentially said yes to everyone so far lol.
They definitely need to say no to this latest guy. Looks like shit.
What they are telling me is that they will accept anyone with a pulse lol.
Oh, and not sure if you heard, they offered a contract to Scorpio Sky and he told them...ehhhhh, wait on that...as he waits for a potential offer from the WWE. lol.Comment

I hope it's Sting who is in charge of Aces and 8s and he's using them to take control of TNA away from Hogan. It'll never happen though.
Also wouldn't be shocked if Eric Bischoff makes an on screen return and has something to do with Aces & 8s. He does produce that horrible Motorcycle Club show on the History Channel.Comment
