Also, anyone else hear the director yell cut while the camera was still rolling? Mistakes like those are wheat gets me watching TNA. So desperate to be the major leagues but no clue what they are doing
Fuck em for making one production mistake.

Derrville, from a production standpoint they are really bad. Lots of mis-cuts, audible director cues, poor camera shots, etc.

Joe hasn't been considered a top guy in over 5 years. For a stretch, he was completely forgotten. It's ridiculous because TNA should be pushing every aspect of what makes them different from WWE. Joe is the posterboy for that because of his look and style.

As for Angle, he's just there. Credit's due in some part because whenever Angle has a match on TV, it has a certain kind of buzz that every other match doesn't have. Still, they could be using him more productively.

Vickie Guerrero will show a low quality sex tape (like the Hogan one) showing Cena banging somebody from behind. He's watching himself in the mirror, flexing his pecks. Cena comes out and admits that he's been having an affair. AJ quickly dashes out and denies it. Cena tells her to let him finish; he says, 'show the rest of the tape'. They roll the tape. Cena spunks all over somebody's back and then leaves the room. The person turns around, revealing themselves and their true identity. It's Vickie Gurerrero herself!

Ive either never really noticed or It just doesn't bother me. Remember too, Bischoff said they're trying to present Impact more like a reality show and those poor shots or whatever could possibly be intentional. I don't want to hear Wayne yell out cut every week either and that WAS a fuck up on someones part but it didn't hurt my enjoyment of the show.

They're a thousand times better than they used to be. They used to change camera angles roughly every 4 seconds. It was terrible pre-Bischoff.

Sadly, yes, it was worse when they weren't LIVE.

Let that sink it. They had production issues no nationally syndicated television show should have.

I think Impact's production has improved ten fold since they went live. The taped shows felt like they were directed by someone with A.D.D.

A lot of that is a better paced show overall, but I like the new camera angles too.

One thing I do love is that they shoot it differently. The way pro wrestling has been shot has seriously not changed a bit since like 1987.

I dont know if its because of this, or maybe the colors they use, but Impact feels like a "cleaner" HD than RAW for some reason. Maybe its my Directv or maybe its Spike, idk.

No I see it too and I have Dish. I think that's partly because of Spike and also because the Impact Zone is so much smaller thus it's easier to shoot and easier to light. I haven't been to the Impact Zone but I'd imagine the hard camera is so much closer to the ring/action than the WWE camera which has to zoom in quit a bit to get the basic "hard cam shot".

Lighting is a huge component of that too, WWE is largely at the mercy of the stadium setup for most of their shows while TNA can light everything pretty awesomely.

Kurt fucking Angle should NEVER lose on television. EVER EVER EVER.

If you book him in a TITLE match on TV, the only endings should apply...Kurt Angle wins...time limit draw (a lost art in wrestling)...a run in for a DQ...whatever, some sort of flakey non-finish finish. And have the opponent go over by a school boy or cheap win. NEVER.

If someone beats Kurt Angle, it needs to be on Pay Per View.

The same thing can be said for your champ. Same thing can be said for your number one contender. Same thing should be said for any champion. Always booked strong. That doesn't mean another guy can't get over with them...you just do it in other ways...time limit draws...good job, good efforts, etc.

Samoa Joe is another one...he should be one of the baddest MF'rs on the planet. They are starting to re-book him like that, but they did a lot of damage over the years.

Austin Aries...he's fantastic. He can be put over strong, or, you can have him win via heelish tactics.

Oh, and whoever thought it was a good idea for Jeff Hardy to come out with his cracker jack title INSTEAD of the real title...moron. It seems like someone got that memo this week, but that Hardy belt needs to be thrown in the trash. When they did that fruit pop Hardy heel run it was the low point of that title...no need to remind fans.

TNA is starting to venture from simple booking that made them strong in the summer. Perhaps a few week misstep...hopefully it is.

WWE's production values are A+...but, they take the concept of HD to the extreme...sometimes, hurts my damn eyes watching RAW.

The Raw set is awesome, but they need to tone it the fuck down sometimes. I love some things they do, like having flames on the top LED board for Kane's enterance. But when you use such bright colors for EVERY damn enterance, it's hard on the eyes and overkill.
