Nigel's commentary is scary. If anybody knows concussions, it's Nigel.

Can't wait to see the show, hopefully the emotion comes across on TV.
Honestly this is for the best, he's still a young man in the 'real world', married not all that long ago, I assume financially stable, he can heal up and enjoy life without surgery every 6 months.Comment

Fascinating "where are they now" look at the roster of FMW some 20 years later. Seems like the women are ahead of the men in terms of living normal, well adjusted lives outside of wrestling.
FMW is overlooked in terms of influence. Obviously ECW borrowed heavily from the playbook, which then trickled down to WWE and the "Attitude Era".Comment

I'm in the middle of watching five straight episodes of Main Event.
Again, if people TRULY want a good, A-B-C wrestling show, and just insist on getting it from WWE, but don't have access to NXT or want to jump through hoops to see it, try Main Event.
The episode I just watched had a cool 12 man battle royal, with the winner facing Barrett for the IC title later in the show. The Battle Royal got time, as did the title match (ended up being Justin Gabriel). Nice little self contained story and two decent matches.
The Shield had a fun brawl with the fat dancing guys & Kofi.
Mark Henry did a four man gauntlet match.
Lots of USOS, which is always cool.
A good mix of different types of matches, plus undercard guys you hardly ever see. YOSHI TATSU faced Swagger, for instance.
Stop bitching about RAW. Even within the confines of WWE, there is a nice variety of stuff to watch.Comment

RAW is such a convenient watch...I understand why people watch it, its habit viewing. For me, I watch it in under 45 minutes every week. I zip through it. I don't watch enough to bitch about the dumb shit.
Smackdown less so, but I guess if you aren't doing shit on a Friday night...I understand...I have it DVR'd but I only save three episodes at a time and I rarely, RARELY, if ever watch a single match from Smackdown. It just doesn't interest me.
I have the ability to watch Main Event and Superstars on Hulu+ so I don't bother to DVR them. I check them out if its notable or I'll do a crash watch and it does tend to be fast forwarded.
I don't watch Saturday Morning Slam. Just isn't for me.
NXT is my shit...I watch it religiously and don't often fast forward through (unless its a really shitty looking divas match)
I watch less WWE programming in a week, then it does to watch a full RAW.
Ya'll boys shouldn't be watching more than 3 hours of WWE programming a week, is what I am trying to say. If you are watching 3 hours of WWE TV, you are watching too much.Comment

I'm not even sure who im talking to at this point, maybe just JimLeavy, because nobody really bitches about RAW in here these days. A bunch of people like it, and most of the rest just ignore it.
Go out of your way to watch Kofi vs Cesaro from 5/1 Main Event. Awesome.Comment
