It's their 'Superbowl' and they can't do a clean finish?

EDIT.....Angle may have been too hurt to continue (his hamstring was fucked up going in), but them not wanting to put the belt on Roode here is laughable.

What a disgrace. I continue to be amazed that TNA has any fans at all.

          Roode didn't win the title?

Aside from the women, Styles/Daniels, and the main event finish, the show was pretty good. Aries/Kendrick was very good.

Aries/Kendrick definitely delivered. I didn't get to see much else of the PPV.

Exactly how I saw it. Velvet winning was a good moment that I wish would have happened in a match that didnt warrant "boring" chants. Styles/Daniels was silly as hell and thats ashame because AJ got one of the biggest pops of the night and it seemed like the crowd was going to be hot for this one but early on I think the constant "NEVAAAAA! AHHH UHHH AHHH!" rubbed the crowd the wrong way I know it did with me. And Roode not winning was a surprise and the ending was a big WTF moment and if Kurts seriously hurt then him winning seems like a big waste but maybe their will be a good payoff when Roode finally does win because you know thats probably going to happen.

Styles and Daniels are not really best suited style wise to work an "I quit" brawl to begin with, plus I don't buy for one second that they want to destroy each other in that manner. Match failed on all levels.

They have to be careful with Roode. If they really want to give him the belt, they have to time it before the fans stop caring. At the end of the day it doesnt matter though because the title is meaningless these days anyway. I don't personally think Roode is a star and I don't think he ever can be.

Kelly Kelly got her title run, so i guess it was time for Velvet Sky to get hers.

TNA doesn't plan ahead, nevermind well enough, to really put together a good program to actually get Bobby Roode over.

Roode should have been over years ago, but they stuck him with Storm when they were both fresh off hot tag team runs and destined for a slow singles push. Instead, they stunt both guys 5 years by putting them together and then starting a new singles push for both guys (Storm's will probably come soon), to which, they shoot Roode to the moon right off the bat.

I actually like Roode and think he's one of the most underutilized wrestlers in the States. But, TNA just doesn't do anything for me to get behind, nevermind Roode's push. I think Roode is a natural heel or enforcer character. Not a hard working babyface who is destined to win the title.

As we discussed on the TNA Bound for Glory Post-Game show last night in the PWInsider Elite section, the original plan for the PPV was for Bobby Roode to defeat Kurt Angle for the TNA championship to close the PPV. The story going around was that yesterday afternoon, Hulk Hogan lobbied to have the finish change, feeling that Roode wasn't ready for a run with the title. So, the finish was changed.

Between that and the AJ Styles stuff in the last few days, there was a lot of resentment towards Hogan among the long time members of the roster. The resentment was especially at a high because Hogan was ripping on Styles on Twitter when everyone knew Styles had missed the TNA Fan Interaction event due to a death in the family.

One running joke I heard after the PPV, which to a person, everyone agreed wasn't a strong show, was whether roster talents could "request a transfer" to Jeff Jarrett's new India project.

Fucking Hogan man still playing politics when he's 100 years old and broken.

Same ol shit never changes...but Dixie Carter still loves the same group of guys who have not advanced her (daddys) company ONE BIT.

I haven't seen too many "destined to win the championship" angles that turned out well when that guy didn't win the title.

The Davey loss at Final Battle 10 and his push for the title after that, was the only one I can recall recently.

When you push a guy like that, you need to finish it off.

Lex Luger Summerslam 93 is an example of it pretty much destroying all momentum.
